What a surprise! I live in Greenwood, LA. The food choices are not the best but 2 weeks ago we discovered Yard Bird in Waskom, TX. The food was fantastic, the place was super clean and our food that we got to go, was ready quickly, correctly and really good! Pork Chops is what we ordered and they tasted like my mother cooked them! Do you and your family a go or and stop by there!

Waited 5 mins to pay for my to go order. I asked if it was ready then waited for another 5 mins while she was putting an order in instead of going back to grab my order that should have been brought out hot instead of being cold. Very disappointed!!!

Very cute place. Food was delicious. Our server Annalie was awesome. The alligator sausage po-boy was great. My mom enjoyed the sausage gravy and biscuits with the side of hashbrown.

First time stopping by coming from Louisiana, and the food was great. Thank you for the hospitality.
Everything was delicious!! This place is behind the visitor center right at the Louisiana/Texas border. You have to be looking for it to find it. I ordered the BBQ burger with potato salad and my boyfriend got the shrimp po’ boy. The service was quick and friendly, and I’d be back every week if we weren’t from out of town. Grab some cake while you’re here too, it’s just like my grandma’s recipe!
