We absolutely LOVE this restaurant!! The Double-Chopped Chicken Salad is amazing and the various salsa options are great! The manager at this location is a *gem and we are happy we found one so close to us!
Dear Pollo Loco Management, I visited your establishment today with the intention of having lunch. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, the employee at the counter appeared confused. When he asked for our order, I requested a moment to review the menu. He responded loudly, “OK, YOU CALL ME WHEN YOU’RE READY,” and then stood there without offering further assistance. When we inquired if it was possible to modify a kids’ meal by excluding the rice and adding sour cream to the burrito, he informed us that it was against policy and that an additional charge would apply. I expressed my willingness to pay any extra charges, but he insisted on consulting his manager. He then approached a group of four employees, and we could overhear them making negative remarks. This experience was quite disheartening, and we decided to leave without placing an order. It is surprising that a business would not accommodate reasonable customer requests, especially when the restaurant was not busy. I hope you will address these issues to improve customer service and ensure a more pleasant dining experience for future patrons.

The chicken here is so good. I always get the two piece leg and thigh with flour tortillas and make tacos. When I crave grilled chicken, this is the first place that comes to mind. The chicken is flavorful and juicy and fresh. The location is also always clean and the service is friendly.
I ordered the Chicken Pollo Bowl, a 3-piece meal with coleslaw, corn, chips, guacamole, and the new Salsa Regular side. Unfortunately, the meal fell short of expectations. The chicken bowl had an excessive amount of rice compared to the toppings, and the rice was overcooked. The chicken itself was dry and tasted old. The salsa was bland, and the packaging—multiple small containers—seemed wasteful. Additionally, the cole slaw was served warm instead of cold, lacking any flavor. I didn’t finish it due to concerns about food safety.On a positive note, the corn was exceptionally flavorful.

I’m so upset with this order. We paid $60 for a family meal & recieved 1/2 the order. All of our chicken was 12 small drum sticks, mashed potatoes we ordered came in a half filled container, no tortillas, chips and no salsa, no napkins, no silverware. I’m just so disappointed and here let me add this to the list my ENTIRE household is sick after eating this food. We are all either throwing up or have diarrhea, I’m experiencing sweats and body aches. Seriously thinking about calling the Health and Human services tomorrow and getting them inspected!
