OMG! I just had the best fajitas ever! Before today, I had never heard of Tacos El Rinconcito but going forward, I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. I am on a special diet where I am limited as to what I can eat so it took me a while to figure out something that was in line with my dietary requirements. The young lady behind the counter was so patient and courteous and gave me recommendations. When I got home, I could not believe the portions and the presentation. The flavor of the food absolutely wonderful!! Just finished my meal and I still have enough left over for another serving!

I have been meaning to come here for a few months already and was totally blown away by the authentic Mexico City style food! For starters the chips and salsa were on point, homemade salsas and tortillas- delicious ! We ordered a few tacos ranging from barbacoa, carnitas, cabeza (beef cheek) and suadera (very few places get this right around here ) they nailed it! Last but not least the aguas frescas all were superb - they offer Jamaica (hibiscus)and horchata and few more! For seafood so far my favorite is the shrimp cocktail which was perfect ...FULL of shrimp the taste was not fishy and the presentation of it all was perfect for a taco shop. Very family friendly, the waitresses were very kind and helpful when making choices and explained everything. Very wholesome place cannot wait to go back soon!Kid-friendliness: Not a crammed place very colorful and kids have plenty of room

So we've been on a Mexican food kick here lately. Honestly, my wife has been but like to keep her happy. This is just around the corner from us and we liked the consistent good reviews. Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon and the inside is really so much nicer than the outside. It has the feel of a mom n pop place and vibrant colors. Not to mention it was very clean when we walked in. That's a big plus + The staff here is awesome!!! They don't speak great English but we were able to order fairly easy. The menu is mostly Spanish with just enough English to order. Did I mention the staff??? They truly are very nice and friendly!! They brought some awesome chips out first. Loved that they were warm too. Good levels of spicy in their salsas. I got three tacos with pork, carne and chicken. They were scrumptious! Truly! The beans and rice were good too but the star of the show was the tacos. So much flavor and spice! My wife got the gorditas. She loved them. Equally impressive flavors. All this and it wasn't expensive either.

So surprised on how good it was here! Customer service is great! They say hi to everyone that comes in. The menu has a lot to select from. The red aguachiles were sooooo goooood! We asked for a spoon because the lime juice was so good. ? I ordered the huarache bistec and it was on point and big! Their hot sauces are all good too. My husband had their torta rinconcito and it was huge, he couldn’t finish it. Agua de horchata was real good too. We will be coming back. We were headed to our normal taco spot but my husband was like we’re already here lets try a new place cuz you never know. Glad I listened. New spot for sure.

Finally, an authentic Mexican restaurant in Watauga! Good food, great service, nice interior with well spaced tables and booths, and Mexican music was playing in the background (nothing loud and annoying). We had the Huevo a La Mexicana which comes with rice, refried beans, and four homemade tortillas. It was absolutely delicious. We were so hungry, we forgot to take pictures of our plates. Enough food to go home with leftovers.
