Back Home Bakery is absolutely incredible! They created a wedding cake for us with a custom icing treatment that was picture perfect—exactly what we had envisioned, down to every last detail. Beyond the cake, we had a dessert table with nine different treats, and every single one was a hit. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and beautiful everything was—it was truly a dessert lover’s dream. Of all the comments we've received about the wedding, the biggest one of all was about these desserts.
We did tastings at three other bakeries, but Back Home was a cut above anything else we found. Their attention to detail, artistry, and sheer quality of their work is unmatched. Now, every time we want a sweet treat—whether for a holiday or just because—they are our only stop.
Even though we aren’t sharing photos (we want our wedding day to remain a private, special memory just for us), trust us when we say everything looked and tasted phenomenal. The team was professional, friendly, and easy to work with, making the whole experience seamless and joyful. We can’t recommend them highly enough—they made our sweet table and cake an unforgettable part of our day!

Our tasting experience was easy-going and everything we sampled was phenomenal, but when it came to the wedding cake itself, they exceeded all expectations. We had family come in from out of town. After shopping downtown, they wanted to stop into the bakery. We did not realize they closed at 3 and arrived there a short time after closing. We stood there very disappointed until one of the young ladies unlocked the door and welcomed us in! They were so gracious and the baked goods were delicious!! Well done Back Home Bakery!

First I would like to say its located beautifully downtown, so its aesthetic is beautiful! Anyhow I swung in today looking for a last minute cake for my husband. Was very pleased they had fresh cakes available and I didnt have to get a grocery store cake. Anyhow, me and my little one also tried their snickerdoodle cookies. Very tasty and moist. The cake was the same. I would love to add they had crazy water from mineral wells which I just love seeing businesses support eachother. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend 👌
Back Home Bakery is such a nostalgic spot in Weatherford, Texas. I popped in last Saturday while I was just walking around downtown and it just made my whole day. The staff was on there A game telling me all about there desserts and giving me suggestions on what I sound try. I got a coffee and serval goodies and all that was left was crumbs. I set in there dining area on thier couch and spoke with one of the workers. It was such a great experience and I will definitely be going back for that humdinger coffee and mocha brownie!
