I’m not sure if this place is still open. We went once and had slow service and had to send the order back twice to get it correct. Food quality was average.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Absolutely horrible service. It took an hour and half to get our food. We were getting up from the table because we had enough of the wait time and then here comes our food. I hate to go fill up our drinks ourself twice. And I did because I don’t care. Will never be back ever. That’s sad because it’s my home town.

Backroads Cafe is one of them good ol' boy/girl home cooking ? kinda places that makes you feel like your at Ma's eatin. Good place to catch up with the town folk. All food we have ordered is very good and reminds us of the South. It's a local favorite and one of the only reastaurants in the official city of Brock, TX.

We love this little cafe. We are sorry they cannot fine enough wait people to work there. We hope and pray they can open up for dinner. Their meat loaf is the best!
