The food here is so fresh. I ordered a Hamburger with Bacon, and every bite was mouth watering. The meat had that wonderful flame broiled flavor and the bacon and vegetables were filled with flavor. The fries where cooked to perfection! My friend ordered the 3 Tacos but they were so loaded she could only eat 2. Very impressed by that, as she has a large appetite! I love these classic Dairy Queen buildings. My Granny took me to one of these where you could park under the front of the building when I was little and now it's special to take my kids. A lot of towns are tearing these down and replacing them with the new corporate style building that doesn't have the iconic DQ look and I think that's a mistake.

I happen to be in Weatherford and it was time for lunch. I pulled into this Dairy Queen in the drive-through and what a treat. This particular one has probably been at this location for decades. It had the feel of a Dairy Queen of old. Classic, historic, and a simpler time.The new more modern Dairy Queen’s are certainly nice, but this was a treat. I felt like I was back in the 1970s or 1980s. It’s great to see this one holding onto its classic charm.
