I had dinner there with my wife tonight. Had to be the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Who puts Hormel Chile on top of an enchilada. My combo salad had burnt dry steak and chicken. The staff were good but the food was awful.

Delivered by Doordash which was great. El Fenix was disappointing: Three Steak Street Tacos, the charro beans were practically bean-less and more like a cup of bean broth, and the order was missing the pico de gallo. Fajita Steak Fiesta Burrito was good.

I loved the food, I loved their steak quesadilla and the cold beer, but without a doubt LUIS, the manager of the place, surprised me from the moment I arrived how kind and attentive he was, he offered us his daily specials and he was aware of our food being on time at our table and at all the other tables, excellent person!!! More restaurants with people like him I WILL BE BACK SOON, IT WILL BE MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT

Amazing food , the pics do not do justice, I mean even the beans had flavor, the rice was yummy and the cheese enchiladas were I dunno just home felt, so tasty and perfect. The service was amazing, the waiter was right on top of it, and also respectful, definitely would recommend y'all to stop if you want some good Mexican food ?

Chips and salsa matter. Spent almost $70. Today we received Nasty chips with the meal and purchased a bag of the same nasty chips in the retail store. Tried to find out if they have changed the chip recipe for good or if this is a fluke. Rude managers wouldnāt answer and kept saying they are the usual chips. They are NOT! One even kept telling me ātheyāre freeā. Thatās not the point. The point is they arenāt the normal fresh crispy chips. The flavor clashed with the salsa and food flavors. Wonāt be back.

First, I need to be honest and admit I am not a huge fan of Tex Mex. I prefer Authentic Mexican.
Since I didnāt really want to chance it I ordered the platter with one of each.
The cheese enchilada was okay. The chicken enchilada was good The beef enchilada was okay The tamale was covered in a sauce that tasted exactly like tomato soup, which I love but was odd on a tamale. The tamale was palatable.
Overall the service was great and the atmosphere was great. The food was okay for Tex Mex, not the best and definitely not the worst.
Vegetarian options: They have 3-5 veg options, which I would have ordered if I had not been planning to share with my son. I would definitely get one of their veg options in the future instead of the other Tex Mex options
