Just went to an awesome party here. The food was just amazing! Get the grits, green bean and tenderloin!!! Highly recommend!
I did not like that it was a la cart. $75 for a ribeye and then yiu have to pay extra for the sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was very good.
Great Old Fashioned. Cant wait to go back.
We tried Fire Oak Grill for our 6 year anniversary. We went based on the reviews and photos of the food. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Jacquelyn provided exceptional service and had a great attitude. She really enhanced our dining experience. We both had the filet cooked medium rare (to perfection) and shared a side of mashed potatoes and the tuna. We were given the cobbler desert for free, which was delicious. We also had two bottles of the Mumm Brut Prestige. We decided to drink the 2nd bottle on the outdoor patio while watching the sunset. We will absolutely return for another incredible dinner and fantastic evening. I highly recommend this great spot in a cool and historic building.
Excellent food and the service with Max at the bar was outstanding!
Tonight was an amazing Valentine's dinner! Jackie was the most amazing waitress, and the atmosphere was great. We got a tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was all so wonderful! The asparagus was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The tomahawk steak was huge and absolutely delicious and tender. It was an experience we won't soon forget. There was one concern, but nothing I want to air out on a review, and I would still give everything 5 stars! ♡ Thank ya'll

This has become one of our family favorites! We have enjoyed Fire Oak 3 times in the past year, and it never disappoints! Service is top notch and the food is always amazing! Highly recommended!
Ate here Saturday, 16 November 24
Food is unreal good! Steaks were perfect and the compound butter is the best I’ve had (worth the extra charge). Also the Bloody Mary is great, no overdone full meal on the toothpick but perfectly spicy.
The building is awesome, I grew up in a town with tons of these old style, narrow but deep buildings with tin ceilings and I love them.
Only bad thing was the service. For $100/person restaurant I’d expect the server to know what beers they had as well as the difference between the kinds they had. Also the staff sent out food out piecemeal, my steak couldn’t melt the compound butter it had been sitting at the table waiting for everything else to come.
Food was amazing but the staff were disorganized, argumentative and slow. It wasn’t particularly busy but the kitchen was definitely outpacing the seemingly inexperienced serving staff.

First visit I ordered a steak which came out already sliced. That was insulting. Next visit at lunch, had fish tacos. I didn’t even get a piece of fish on the tacos, just a little shredded fish, hardly enough to taste. Pitiful!!!

Everything was a positive experience from my visit. I was part of a large group Friday September 27th, and the service, food, and speed were amazing. The staff is kind and due to the large group, we had two staff members and they did a wonderful job. Kenzie helped our half of the table. Kenzie is friendly, attentive, and provided great service all around. The food was excellent from the bacon wrapped jalapeños to the filet, best whipped garlic potatoes ever, and the Mac & Cheese is divine. This is worth the drive to Weatherford. P.S. made myself hungry writing the review.
Parking: Great parking options across the road from the restaurant. Much better than other historic downtown towns I’ve seen.

I'm perplexed how this restaurant asks for high end prices when the food and atmosphere was not even close to high end. Hubby and decided to try something new. Came here on Saturday night, 3 females in front seem shocked when we said we had no reservation, they weren't inviting or welcoming in any sense of the word. Sat us at a 4 person table by the bar even though there was a lovely 2 person spot available the entire time we were there. I like simple, so the entire look of the place is simple and the menu is simple as well. I did enjoy that but it was entirely underwhelming. The blond waitress barely checked on us. I saw another brunette waitress who was constantly checking on her tables around us, not so much the blond. She didn't even introduce herself when she came to the table. Not good service. After we ordered, took 45-50 minutes to get the food after we ordered. They did not appear to be busy, lots of open tables. The "bread" they brought out for us before the food came was so dry and I thought it was a joke. They brought 3 thin slices for 2 people? That was confusing. Finally the food came out, served my husband first. I had to wait there and let his steak get cold, several minutes later brought mine out. Good basic service-bring everyones food at the same time!! 6oz steak I ordered was really good! My husband's $80 steak, not so much. Really fatty, flavor wasn't there. The mac n cheese we ordered I was shocked by. All the reviews raved about the Mac n cheese. Kraft mac n cheese would be a better choice. Any decent chef, knows how to make a good mac n cheese without truffle oil (which by the way that's an extra price). Their basic mac n cheese was dry, had no flavor, I don't know how anyone can say that's worth the price or call it high end. YIKES! Also, "high end" why is it family style for sides? No sides came with our meal, they're all an extra price. I went to the restroom, was shocked that they don't have toilet paper in a toilet paper holder! Just 2 dingy rolls hanging out on the back of the toilet. Yuck! So for our 2 steaks, mac n cheese and experience, it totalled to $160! If you want high end, I'd recommend going to Cattlemens! You get more bang for your buck, delicious steak and way better service!

My wife and I visited this place for our anniversary on 7/13. I called to make a reservation and was asked a few questions, one was if we had a problem with stairs to which I replied no. Our reservation was for 7pm, we got there and I can see the stairs it was roped off. I'm thinking that's where we are going for our "intimate" dinner. No they sat us by the bar. I was so disappointed and embarrassed to see the look on my wife's face when they seated us. I hate to say it may have been a race thing but I don't know, we are Hispanic and it was very Caucasian in there and the looks we got were not very welcoming. So we sucked it up and tried to make the best of it. Our waitress/bartender/barback was very polite and made some recommendations. We had a couple drinks and an appetizer that was pretty good. My wife had a side salad with ranch and I had the Cesar salad. This was the first time I have ever encountered sardines in a Cesar salad. I didn't know what it was till the plates were picked up, but I removed it from my salad. My wife had some chicken plate with mashed potatoes and carrots that were ok. I had a 8oz tenderloin filet with no sides. The steak was one of the best I've ever had. They did give us a little bowl of cobbler and a couple of glasses of champagne. Now our bill came to $164.32, with a 20% tip which I really don't care about. But if you're going to be charging those prices the customer should get an experience way better than what we got. I expected a very intimate dinner maybe by candle light with other celebrating similar occasions. I was very very disappointed. The kicker as I'm checking my bank accounts and credit cards I see the charge from Fire Oak Grill for $264.32. it's only been a few days so not sure if that is the final transaction, so I will give it till the end of the week. Update after waiting a little over a week still no change with charge of $264.32. I had to put in a dispute with my bank for the $65 difference.
Limited food choices. Great atmosphere. A good place to go have cocktails.
