I've been going to Five a.m. Donuts since I was a kid (Benbrook location) I moved to Weatherford a few years ago and was overjoyed there was b one out here that is until today 4/30/2025 . I will not go back to this location they have changed the receipt of there donuts

This place has gone down hill terribly!!! They’ve switched ownership and since then everything has changed. Ms. Dee, the woman whom worked here before, was the sweetest, kindest, most personable lady. She remembered you and made you feel like you were her only customer. The food was great. THEN! A man bought this place. He is so cold and rude. Which I would ignore if the food was of quality. IT IS NOT! The donuts are so tough, dry, hockey pucks! The icing on top literally flakes off like it’s been sitting out for a week! There is ZERO FLAVOR! The prices went up exponentially! I’ve gone back several times since new ownership, thinking they just needed to work through new owner kinks. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Nope. I swear it’s only gotten worse! I now will wake up 30 mins earlier, to drive all the way into town (and if you’re from here, you know how that morning traffic is going down 51!) to go to another donut shop! We have yet to find our new favorite place, Donna’s is pretty great. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!! Trust me! My kiddo would rather go without then eat here also, and that says a lot for an 8 year old who loves donut days.

Stopped here only cause it was on the way to work and needed to grab a dozen donuts for my co workers, I would've drove off otherwise... A dozen donuts, half glazed the other half chocolate was $16!! Hoping they were a least going to be fresh I was out of luck again. Most driest & oldest donuts me & my co workers ever had!! The guy at the window was nice but there's pricing are crazy & not worth what your getting be smarter than me and take your business else where!

11.04.2024..... We are absolutely crushed! We went there this morning and MS. Dee was not there any more and they have a new owner! Does anyone know where can find her. The food is good but she made the experience GREAT!!

We went every Friday before taking my daughter to school. They always had what we wanted. Eventually, the wonderful lady at the drive-thru window knew who we were. She would say, "See you next Friday!" She is so sweet! We will continue to go every Friday again when school starts back. :)
Parking: I wish the lot were bigger. It's hard to get in and out.
Quaint little donut shop that I would have driven past had not been directed by Google maps. That being said, I am glad I know it is there now. The greeting that I received at the drive-thru window started off a great experience. The sausage/cheese kolache was the best I have ever had, bar none. The donuts were fresh, and my daughter was amazed by the amount of sprinkles, which, if she would give a rating, would be 10/10. When back in Weatherford, this will be o e of my go-to spots.
Kid-friendliness: They will love the sprinkles.
