I’ve gone to iron works for the last 3 years. The coffee is good and that the only reason why. The service is terrible. I will be taking my service else where. They are slow and no one ever seems to have any answers. I’ve gone to all 3 locations today to get coffee. The first 2 don’t have it at all and the 3rd location. The grinder is broke. For weeks now! The coffee isn’t even worth it for me now.

Okay. This is a review I never, ever wanted to leave. I love ironworks. What they’ve brought to Weatherford is amazing, needed, and appreciated.

The drive thru location in particular has been struggling for about a year. The coffee is almost always lukewarm (I always have to order it “extra hot” and even then sometimes it is barely warm.) I consistently order a 16 oz, and 9 times out of 10 it feels like there is barely anything in the cup, and that’s because it’s nearly all foam. Today, I ordered 2 extra hot lattes and a Texas Cheeter, (warmed up). I had to repeat the order 3 times to the employee at the intercom, before pulling up to the window, and I know for certain I did indeed say *two* breve lattes, and they repeated *two* breve lattes. I was handed *one* barely hot latte, and after bewildering the employee with the news that I had indeed ordered TWO lattes, and was met with zero apology or friendliness whatsoever, just awkward annoyance, I waited for and paid for another lukewarm, half foam latte. I also watched as the employee put the Cheeter in the microwave before they bagged and handed it to me. When I opened it as I was driving away, I found it was completely cold (unmelted cheese in the center, cold).

This is just one instance of the utter laziness and incompetence I experience regularly from the drive thru employees. I have spoken with other people who I know go through the drive thru, and they have had similar bad experiences. There is a handful of people who are legit and are hardworking, and good at their job. But the majority of people who work the drive thru need to be let go.

Used to I would alway recommend this place, but for whatever reason the last few months the quality has plummeted. The coffee is never consistent anymore, and the last few times I’ve gone I’ve gotten a half empty cup. For the price, I would expect that I’d get the amount that I ask for. Not to mention the parking lot needs some major work, you can’t go through without hitting at least two potholes.
