We were given a recommendation to try this restaurant. Very nice restaurant with many different items and daily specials to pick from. Very nice waitress we had. Highly recommend this place and We will be back before we head back home to Iowa.

Home cooking, country environment. This is exactly what it would look like if Aunt Bee was still alive and opened up a restaurant. Service was excellent and the daily special did not let us leave hungry. they don't take credit cards though, so that's a bit of a bummer.

Ordered a hamburger and it was not that good. The bun had a hard clump in it and seemed old. It was too expensive considering it did not come with a side for the menu price. Honestly, don't think we will go back. It looks like an affordable, good ol home cooking type place... just take out the affordable and your at Wanda's.

I just got to tell you about Wanda's. Visiting relatives and eat there several times. Relatives had been telling us how great this place was and they did not execrate. This country food at a very good price and great for Seniors looking for not so salty food. Great pies etc: Can't wait to go back to Texas and dine with them again. You will not be disappointed.

Fairly standard diner atmosphere. The breakfast I had (chicken fried steak and eggs) was ok but nothing special. I was told their pies are amazing but have not had the chance to try any yet.

It's just a small hometown place with decent food & service. I do love their onion rings as im pretty sure they are not frozen but hand dipped. They don't accept cards anymore so either bring cash or pay the extra ATM fees.

Love Wanda's!! Its not fancy, its not new, its not anything you'll find in one of those generic chain outlets. What it IS is genuine! Service is first rate. Waitresses are friendly, welcoming, and attentive without hovering. The food is authentic, home style grub. Wont win any awards from Bon Apetit magazine and it probably wont make your doctor happy. But its DAMN tasty and satisfying and worth it! Biscuits and gravy were perfect. Chicken fried steak is some of the best! And if that weren't enough, its a genuine, Mom and Pop, small business you can support with a smile.

Will definitely go back. Be aware, that they don't take credit cards. Cash only, but they do have an atm machine. Not sure what thats about, but whatever. Just know it going in.

When I get back there again, this is the first place I will be eating at. Chicken fried steak was the best I ever ate. The pecan pie was great. The staff was friendly and ours stopped by just in time for our pie order.

Greatest place to go in weatherford for a small-town home cooked meal, been going here since i was a kid and it never ceases to amaze me, the staff is wonderful and I would recommend wanda's to anyone who heads anywhere near weatherford
