Whistle Hill's Downtown Cafe

This was our first time here. If I could give this place twenty stars I would. We had to wait outside for maybe fifteen minutes, we got in and I had hot chocolate which was delightful. Then we ordered, the food came out the portions were so big and it smelled so good. It smelled like a home cooked breakfast meal like when I was a little girl and my granny would make this gigantic breakfast spread and your nose is just going crazy with the most delicious smells. Just imagine the best breakfast smells. Then I take a bite my taste buds were going crazy it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my entire life, I’m not even joking. It was so good. This is my new breakfast spot for the rest of my life. My husband and daughter loved theirs too!, you know when you eat something so delicious and you’re so completely full and you just keep eating because it’s so good?, it was exactly like that. I was so full, so stuffed and so sleepy afterwards. The waitress was so sweet too. Everyone was. It is family owned and operated. Make sure you go there hungry. Ohhh and the pancake tasted like cake!!!, I’ve never tasted anything like that it must be someone’s great grandmas secret recipe was shocked eating it like whatttt?!!!! That pancake was the best pancake I’ve ever had. I’ll see yall next weekend. I’m a brand new regular from here out!!!

Omg the Bourbon wings I had here was hands down the best wing I’ve had. I’ve had a bunch of wings too… they were also huge! My wife and daughters were great also!!!

Incredibly rude servers. Fish was cooked from frozen and corn not even heated, cold butter on top. Expensive.

If you love Pancakes like I do, ??‍♀️ ??‍♀️ ??‍♀️!!! They are Amazing! And they are incredibly big. I am in love!
Service was quick and friendly. Great overall experience for sure.

Update: We are back again!!! This place Rocks! I had to show how big and wonderful these Pancakes are. I was smart this time and only got a single. I still couldn't finish it all, but it was soooo worth getting....?

cool local place- on the surface. people sat after us got order taken 1st (two tables), My omelet was good, toast was cold, hard and dry. Grits runny and instant. Eggs over cooked and batter on CFS falling off

Great Rueben sanwhich and large side of French fries. Bourbon chicken wings great as well. Great friendly staff. Highly recommend. We'll be back everytime we come to First Monday trade days.

Usually love this place but today was disappointing. Food was cold and lacking in flavor. Floor was sticky and gross, May be awhile before we return.

Water and teas didn't taste good, didn't have some of the things available on the menu. Did get a seat right away, but the table and seats were dirty. Staff was very friendly, food like the Quiche and banana bread was very good.

Wow, the pancakes are substantial and very good. All food cooked to order and very tasty. Plenty of food for the hearty appetite or share for those not wanting a full platter.
