Excellent bakery. The pigs are delicious. And the staff are very courteous and will answer any questions you may have about their different baked goods.

Bad cappuccino from machine/automat, the primo cappuccino, in styrofoam mug, much too sweet and strong. I don’t understand the 4.6 star, expect at least fresh made cappuccino fit that rating. Cookie was ok.

Went looking for Apple Struedel I had at a family gathering and found out had to pre-order it. But loaded up on a box full of awesome goodies. The kolaches and apple fritters were yummy. The apple and blue berry crumbles also good. They were very nice folks. A table of locals were visiting drinking coffee etc. Good place!

Lunch menu is good and the food is fresh. Very clean and the staff is friendly. I was so glad my GPS directed me off the highway because of traffic, or I wouldn't have found this place.

We were traveling back to Sugar Land on Interstate 10 and decided to exit the highway in Weimar, TX searching for dessert. The GPS led us to Kountry Bakery. We arrived pretty close to closing time (2:00 p.m.) so the selection was a little lite. However, we were met with a kind greeting and smile. After some indecision from us, and a lot of patience from the sales person, we decided to go with the apple fritters. We enjoyed the fritters and I put this spot on my list.

I'm 100% Czech so I know kolaches. This is probably the only kolache bakery that I just do not like. They cover the kolaches (and just about any sweet pastry) with a disgusting amount of thick sugar syrup. Not a fan!
