Labor day traffic on I10 heading back to Houston from Austin - OH MY. What is normally a 2.5 hour drive took us 4.5. There were more slow drivers in the left lane than EVER. We were passing on the right every chance we got but because of that and the number of folks that would take an exit to try and get ahead simply caused the traffic to stop. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, price AND quality of the sandwiches we ordered. Only one mistake (mine was NO PEPPERS)...
Subway or Texas Burger, you can't go wrong here. We go from San Antonio to Houston regularly and this is our go to halfway pit stop. It's so good we typically plan our trip around stopping here. I usually get Texas Burger but this time opted for Subway. It was freshly prepared and all the meat and fixings were really packed on there. It was a great Subway sandwich. This place is between San Antonio and Houston. The burgers and steak fingers are especially good as is the ice cream. They also have a Subways in the same building. Staff is courteous.
