Didn't try the food. So understaffed when we were there that a customer had to walk into the back where the one person working was washing dishes to get them to notice there were people looking to eat and it still took the poor gal a while to get to where she could come up. We bought dinner at the Subway counter.

We were passing through on our way towards San Antonio and stopped by for a burger. We were not acknowledged, the lady at the counter went and helped herself to a drink before attending us. I ordered a combo and she asked what kind of fries and when I asked what kind of fries they had she responded with they were on the menu. That for me was an enough to know we did not want to dine there. Did not get to try the food, service is lacking.

It's connected to a Subway. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. They gave me the chicken from subway they use from their sandwiches. Sliced up and everything. I've had the grilled chicken at Texas Burger multiple time. Never had it been sliced like Subway. Even tried calling multiple times. Phone was busy then no answer. That food is not cheap and I don't care if these teenagers wanted to go home before 9. I took a picture too but this platform won't let me post it.

Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. They used the crap precooked pre sliced chicken from Subway. Had the sandwich quite a few times and know that's not what they use. So disappointed and when I tried to call, phone was busy for over twenty minutes then when it rang. No answer. All they had to tell me when I placed my order was they didn't have any chicken in Texas Burger. Easily would have switched my order.
Patty smaller than McDonald's for 3 times the price.

Overall an ok burger joint. We were desperate for food along our trip and needed something quick. We stopped here and ordered two patty melts with fries. Patty melt was good fries were not. They were very dry and not very good tasting. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't disgusting either. I probably wouldn't come back.
