We were passing through Wellington on our way home and decided to stop and have a late lunch. We chose The Gettin Spot by chance but I'm really glad we did. It was an old Dairy Queen but it was super nice and clean. The menu has a wide variety of food to choose from. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and it was great. It had a perfect blend of steak, onions, bell peppers and cheese. My side was hand cut fries which were perfect, I didn't even need ketchup which is rare for me. My wife had a steak sandwich which had a familiar name if you've ever eaten at DQ. She said is was extremely good. It was an overall great experience that we truly enjoyed. Thank y'all.

This place is a hidden gem. The menu includes a little bit of everything. Pizza, pasta, burgers, pot roast, Mexican food, and desserts.
I had a pot roast special for lunch. It was tender, juicy, and delicious. I suggest any time you're through Wellington, give the Gettin Spot a try.

Ordered the el grande nacho salad I’ve had it before from here and it was good this time on the other hand very disappointing didn’t look or taste the same I’ve worked in restaurants all over the US and one piece of advice I can offer yall is consistency is key sad I wasted $15 on crap

Had some pizza from there a few days later and was most unimpressed. Maybe a bad day? Maybe just not the best pizza? Service was friendly and definitely not fast. They are rude , a man and his kids were ignored and then asked to leave because some other kids were making fun of the man’s kids, when he told them to stop , he and his kids were asked to leave. I can’t believe how they were treated. I’ll never go back.
