All food was ok, not bad, however, its a BBQ place. Food should be flavorful, it was not. Brisket tasted like it was boiled or cooked in a slow cooker. It was edible but not impressionable. Sides were delicious. Cashier looked inconvenienced and didnt offer any suggestions or much help. Shes human so idk if she was having a bad day. Hope she feels better. Restaurant was clean and orders were made fast. Overall, it was ok, not a “TOP 10” for me

I had a sliced lean brisket sandwich, and added sausage to it. Giving the sandwich the full treatment I added pickles, onions, BBQ sauce, and jalapeño.
Everything I ate on it was of good fresh quality. Nothing tasted like it had been sitting out long. The bun was toasted perfectly. I wanted more smokey flavor. It tasted dull in the department. The BBQ sauce was too sweet. It could use less sugar.
The price of the sandwich is was certainly worth it. So though I have some criticisms of the food, I think this is still worth the price.
Criticisms I provided kept me from giving it 4 stars.

Went through the drive through last night ,all food was cold , within 2 hours my spouse and I got sick from our stomachs ! It was our first and LAST TIME THERE! I do not recommend this place ! Never again
We ordered a turkey for now on Thanksgiving Day, apart from being expensive, super small and dry, it looked like roast chicken. If you are going to sell a turkey for more than 80 dollars, at least sell something big and that tastes good, not garbage.

My husband and I absolutely *LOVE* bringing our 6 children to Reyna's BBQ in Weslaco at LEAST once a month. We love getting the botana for the kids because it EASILY feed 3-4 adults. My husband is a fan of the delicious Bowls with added moist brisket. Today, I tried the macaroni and brisket baked potato and it was the best!! Absolutely cooked to perfection. The best BEST part of our meal today AND *EVERY* time we dine in or order To-Go, is the STAFF! They all truly all go above AND beyond. Every time! Every visit! Every order! Everyone is always willing to help us out with anything and everything we need to enjoy our meal. Our food is always hot and perfect to eat on time. It's cooked amazingly. We will always continue to bring our family here and most definitely always let everyone know of the wonderful family Reyna's BBQ has welcomed us into in every visit. Thank you. ❤️
