The sweet bread here is excellent. It's a little more expensive than the others in town, but the selection is excellent and the food is very good. It is also very clean.

Ordered a cake with butter cream! Got whipped cream instead. Frosting was practically melted. Confronted her but she still says it’s butter cream. When clearly butter cream gets hardened and the cake never did. I’ve ordered twice before and they were never like this one. Only 1/4 of the cake was eaten, because frosting was way too soft and melted.

My husband went to get a coffee and bread to this location, it was past 2:00 pm so he qsked if they could make a fresh coffee for him, which just means they would need to put coffe and water in the little coffee maker at the front. Nothing fancy. Nevertheless, the lady up front said "I can't, I have too much work to do" . Considering the short time it would have taken for hwr to make fresh coffee, this really disappointed us about this spot we used to love. In the future, I hope they hire people who really like to serve customers. Thank you

Everything is very rich in flavor, but the prices for the bread were expensive, since for two shells of bread, I paid $2.75dls. That's all I didn't do very well

First of all they gave me the biggest horchata I’ve ever had in my life. Second, the cookies were so good. I also suggest the churro donut. I’ll definitely be back.

This place has been there since I was a kid and has always been one of my favorite parts of visiting Rio Grande. Delicious!
