Bad attitude and bad service. Their 5 piece chicken tenders for 11.99 (just the tenders) is not worth it, very small pieces, dry and cold. Tried to call them several times to let them know about it but never answered, will never go again, bad quality food
Food was surprisingly great. Giving them a try because I had not been since I got a tiny chicken sandwich for what I felt was expensive. Service was a bit rough needs to be friendlier, tone was a bit harsh in my opinion.

07/11/2025 we decided to visit the weslaco Popeyes location 2 orders. total was @ $35. the food looked like it was taken out of a trash can. like it were for a pig. I asked for a refund but was told to contact Popeyes headquarters, they dont answer the phone, they use tect messaging. where they told me I could get a $5 credit for the same item from the same restaurant. the wings had black spots and smelled funky.

Went here and the environment was nice and all got to the register asked for chicken and some wings the cashier was nice and everything take it home although it did take them a while to get the order ready but then we dig in and some of the wings raw not only that but dig into the chicken and the chicken doesn't look too cooked either. Great atmosphere, decent service, near terrible food.

Never fails, I give them the benefit of the doubt and I keep going to the drive through so I don’t have to get my grandkids out of the car seats. I get home happy to feed my babies, open the box and the chicken is the nastiest food I’ve ever had. I keep having to call management and taking the food back. There’s no way on earth I’d eat that trash much less feed it to my family. People like that have no business working with food!!! DISGUSTING 🤮

Bought two spicy chicken sandwiches, and they were alright. I was expecting more from Popeyes, home of the chicken sandwich. They weren't too expensive, but I wouldn't buy them again.

This store sold me spoiled rice and beans. Rice takes two to 3 days to go bad and it takes longer is refrigerated. This store either pre-make the rice and beans and move them in and out of the fridge. Or worst they leave it out overnight. Either way, avoid the rice and beans. Imagine I get food poisoning or someone’s kid and they die from it. I would avoid this store because they are obviously cutting corners and not checking the freshness of the food they sell.

I just went to the drive thru and purchased 2 chicken tenders dinner ( 3 pcs with 1 side) 1 extra side and chicken sandwich with fries. My total was $38 and change and I thought it was a bit pricey but still went ahead and purchased it. As I went around the building a promotion ad of the big box dinner ( 3 pcs tenders with 2 sides and biscuit) for $ 6. I was concerned why I didn't get offered that special since that's exactly what I ordered. I got off to voice my concern and the member of management ( Amanda) didn't seem to care one bit and simply said we'll we don't offer specials the customers have to mention in order to get that deal. Where's the customer service? So I have to know the all the deals before I order then. I was given the DM # and let's see if a phone call will be return. They need to upskill not only there customer services but also the management staff.

Recently visited ordered a lunch special. And a Combo meal. The chicken was good quality chicken. Although pricey. Atmosphere was mainly construction, city workers, cable techs, etc. Polite friendly in general. The red beans and rice were bland in my opinion. The staff were friendly in general. Half of the tables were dirty but not completely dirty but as if neglected. Quiet atmosphere. Portion size compared to the prices were small. Food was tasty though worth what we paid for it. Unsure 🤔. Just the truth the way I saw it personally.

03/07/25 I live several towns over, made an effort to drive to the Weslaco, location. After receiving my order,I asked the clerk if everything was inside, including the pies I ordered she told yes. I drive home and sure the order was not complete. The pies, which I went out of my way to order were missing. I was not going to drive 30 minutes back for a couple of pies. But now I have a bad taste in my mouth, for this location.
