We finally made it to this place. It's like stepping into the past when you walk through the door. To start, you get a warm, genuine welcome from the available staff. When we got our food, it seemed like my mother was around and had just made the flour tortillas. They smelled, felt, and tasted just like hers. The food was delicious and freshly made. The service was spot on, and for being packed, there was not much of a wait. We will be back soon. This was worth the drive from McAllen to Weslaco.
