Tropical Smoothie Cafe

There are times that I will order a smoothie and there's chunks of ice that keep getting caught in the straw. But that is kind of a rare occurrence. The thing that happens often for some strange reason is I am asked to move forward away from the drive-thru window when there is not a single car behind me. I am wondering if the staff does so to avoid being seen or heard doing something inappropriate. I do not understand what the purpose is to have someone move forward when no one has even driven up to make an order.

This place is full of good healthy options and it's open til late. My wife and I shared a chicken and jerk sauce wrap and a smoothie and it was the perfect dinner

Highly recommend this place for delicious bowls. The gentleman who was working answered all of my questions and helped me choose the bowl with the most protein.

I can’t wait to go back and try their lunch options.

Food was great, you have to try the Thai chicken wrap or the bacon, turkey cheese flatbread! The mango, coconut smoothie is a magnificent treat. Do yourself a favor and get over there.

I came in today and was treated with unnecessary attitude from the cashier at the front. I was polite and respectful, but the way they spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. It completely killed my mood, and honestly, I didn’t even feel like ordering after that. This is not the kind of service I expect, and it needs to be addressed.

Kids do a great job. I noticed they only hire young .

Placed my order at the drive-thru and they said they would have my total at the window. Nobody ever came to the window. A few minutes later someone came to the window and asked did you order, while she was eating. No apologies, absolutely no apologies. Horrible customer service.

Love this place since the Pharr location opened. I kinda miss the edible straws, so good. I love coming here except when I'm omw to work, I've been late before just waiting in drive-thru, plus was given someone else's order and mine was also given away, spending 20 minutes for a mobile order of one smoothie. The workers have good intent and most are very nice but they are understaffed during peak hours. A friendly tidbit: don't tell your co-workers out loud that you're very sick in front of patrons while handling a smoothie and form of payment...please. 🫠 still love y'all!! ❤️
