Food was delicious, service was amazing. Most of all was the atmosphere. I loved it. Peaceful, chill and very relaxing. I really loved the place. My first time there. I hate to hear they are closing soon. I highly recommend going there before it does.

What a great place with a great atmosphere! I had the brisket, jalapeno sausage, pork belly, Mac n cheese, and the trashcan potatoes. The brisket was great, had wonderful flavor and the perfect moistness. The jalapeno sausage had great flavor and the right amount of kick, not too spicy but it was for sure there. The pork belly was also moist and tasted spectacular! The meal was great and there was plenty of food so you can take some home and enjoy it again! My wife had the brisket baked potato which she said was wonderful. To me a good meat must stand on its own and not have to get dunked in sauce to have flavor, Brazos River Brisket House understands this and delivers great flavor. We will return and frequently!

We’ve been twice. But I literally crave the brisket and macaroni on the regular. The staff is always super friendly and the food is amazing. It’s a great family atmosphere. And my husband is in love with the banana pudding. 10/10 will definitely keep going back and recommend to anyone looking for great bbq at a great price!

Great atmosphere!! The green beans are PERFECT wayyyy better than Texas Roadhouse by far! We will definitely be back especially for the live music and BYOB

What a great venue to have a good meal and listen to some great music. It’s BYOB, even in this july heat is feels great under the pecan trees….there always a nice breeze in the prairie. Very hospitable people!

Went to dinner there for the first time the other day.. GREAT FOOD, AND AMAZING STAFF.. For being a barbecue place the prices were really good...

Finally found great BBQ! Oak smoked with lots of comfort food sides to choose from. Extremely friendly atmosphere from the servers to the owner Ernie. We will be back and bringing friends to hang out under the oak trees and listen to music or enjoy the beautiful rustic inside dining. Either way Brazos River Brisket House is a Win Win.

The best smoked pork belly I’ve ever had! Delicious brisket and ribs too!

We have considered stopping numerous times but usually too busy to enjoy the atmosphere, glad we did ! It’s rustic and down- home , pretty scenery and tasty!

Really cool place. Best brisket I've had since moving back to the area last year. The regular sausage was mild and flavorful. The potato salad was delicious. Slaw a bit dry and bland but very fresh. Brought it home to give it a little help then finish it off (a little mayo, couple of drops of lemon juice and a touch of salt). I don't critique sauces often because to most people BBQ sauce is a "whatever is there" type thing. I like choices, but none available here. This sauce is heavy on the vinegar. Not for me but like I said is probably fine for most people. And I will say I'm certain that it didn't come from a jar.I know we'll drop back in again sometime. Maybe for the live music on the weekend. The only reason I'm not rating a5 is that it was quite expensive! Over $50 for 2, 2-meat plates and 2 fountain drinks.

Great atmosphere, very friendly service and awesome food. Love the flavorful brisket, smoked pork belly and smoked turkey. Other favorites are the corn casserole and cabbage. Big portions - no complaints. Great place to sit outside under big oak trees along the Brazos River. They have live music sometimes on the weekends. Even though it says closed they are most definitely open - March 2022

Hi !!!!Today we are at Brazos River Brisket !!!We are a family of four !!We stop at this location because it looks awesome!!! The decorations and the out door sitting.This is our first time eating at this restaurant.?The barbecue souse it was way different from other locations?The meat was Soso, not a lot of people.The staff were friendly.I think the price is a little high but that’s only my opinion.Yes I know!! Some people are going to say you’re crazy that place is the best and the price is good!!!Well that’s ok is only my experience at this restaurant.I hope my experience helps you !!!Where to go next ??DonJJ out!!!
