Yes I purchase food here all the time , but I usually don’t do reviews but, I purchased about 88.00 worth of BBQ . I purchased the smoked chicken wings appetizers, there were very dry, purchased the 2 meat plate brisquit and chicken, very dry , brisquit I got was marble , but it seems to be more fat than anything , so I did not eat it , and also got a 7 piece RIbs, to whom it may concern, I hop with this review they will do better.

Passing through and happy we stopped today! Everything was fresh. Server was very attentive and sweet. First thing I noticed when walking in was how clean the place is. Bathrooms are also very clean

I’m a Construction Manager on a site in Sweeney, Tx……8 miles from Republic Bar-B-Que. Called Republic and ordered a catering spread that did not disappoint! Sausage and brisket were juicy and very tasty. Owner Tim, and their staff were professional and very helpful. I will be ordering from them again! Highly recommended.

Maybe we went on an off day but we were very disappointed with our choices. My husband and I both had the marbled brisket which at first glance looked delicious! As we ate, we both, almost at the same time, said this brisket has no flavor! And the outside was so thick and hard that it was hard to chew. The meat was like a roast. The sides were good. The service and staff were great but we’ve had brisket FAR BETTER than what they serve here.

Good food and a friendly staff. I had a smoked turkey sandwich and a side of coleslaw. The sauce had a nice zing. My only criticism was that the portions were a bit small. A few more slices of turkey and double the serving of slaw would be a five-star for me.
Finally a restaurant the knows how to smoke meat properly! Everything is delicious but the brisket is my favorite. It’s trimmed properly, bursting with flavor and not full of fat! Never a long wait, full bar and friendly staff. 5 out of 5 for me. You won’t be disappointed!
