If you ever get the opportunity to visit Cooksy’s, do it! I got a brisket sandwich and let me tell you. I inhaled it and remained full, fat, and happy for the remainder of the day! It was a bit too warm for us to sit in their seating area but had it been 10 degrees cooler, it would have been perfect! We took our order out to Lake Tyler and enjoyed it by the water with a nice breeze.

Quaint little side of the road eatery. Outdoor seating only. Fast and friendly. Grab some meat and sides to go or eat there.
My wife had turkey I'm usually not a fan, but pleasantly surprised. Sausage and brisket are on par. Good Missed the 3rd week of the month smoked meatloaf. Heading back to try it in a few weeks. We had left overs. I suggest taking the peach cobbler to go and adding some Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla as your a la mode.

Best barbecue in Whitehouse for sure. I took mine to go but after arriving it looked like a nice place to enjoy your meal. My chop beef sandwich was huge. So my dog giving me her puppy eyes got some too. Their Pinto beans were very good. Not as spicy as I like but definitely worth getting them next time.
