The poorest excuse for a Chinese buffet. All food was lukewarm except the soup. I stired all the dishes before putting on my plate... didn't help. Blegh! I will never be back. Peak times may be better ... call in order and take out may be better, as long as it isn't the buffet. The food I had all tasted the same, except the soup. Coildn't figure out what was stuffed in the eggroll... nasty. Save your $14.40 with tax, no drink.

We are used to the Chinese restaurants in IL, most items were not made the same. Crab ragoon hardly had any filling. Probably won't go back during our stay in TX.

My daughter & I went here Whitehouse tx. Chinese Restaurant see that they had high star ratings.... I so so disappointed the Food was Not good .. looks like it had been on the steam table for 2 days green beans swiveled up not I ate here was good my Daughter didn't like it either dont waste your money by going here... the sushi looked like it had dried spam in it I wished we had looked at the food before we were seated ..... I Will Not Be eating here again ... But they did have some good sweet tea ... that was the only thing thT was good ... of course if no one is in a restaurant I guess that should be a sign.. because we were the only ones there for a long time...

Please DO NOT EAT HERE. This place is very nasty and the customers are allowed to pick up food with their hands. The waiters are nice but I would never eat here again it's just that bad. I seen a lady grabbing spaghetti noodles with her hands and put it in a to-go container. I seen a man come out the toilet while I was in the he walked past the sink and went made him a few plates of food. This is NOT the place to eat until they have a complete over haul and educate the staff on what is acceptable and what cannot happen.

I got there at 11 am. Several items were cold. I guess they take the food from the fridge and put on the burners to get hot. Disappointing
The food is really great even 2pm afternoon. Calamari caught me off guard because it sooo good. Service is always great, I cant believe I am just now getting around to submitting a review. My family come here all the time even when the kids are hard to deal with, the staff always helps with them ever since they were newborn. They have made some changes adding more ventilation for the hot summer and there bathrooms are thoroughly clean. The only disappointment is seeing that they don't have 5 stars on Google review. Keep up the good work Golden China of Whitehouse!

Worst Chinese food buffet I have ever tried. Please save yourself the disappointment of soggy General chicken. Bbq chicken is served in water. Jalapeño chicken was salty beyond more than even a sample. Fried rice was obviously from frozen and just quickly prepared.
Not even remotely worth the 35 dollars for t dinners with drink.

My son went to buy himself a birthday dinner and the lady told him 29 dollars for two boxes weighed 3.99lb when he checked his balance the charge was 35 on his card I don't know if it was a miss stated price or she added a tip or something but to quote a birthday child one price and charge another seems wrong to me

My Son and I got take out from Golden for the first time yesterday. The service was Fantastic, the lady asked me if I would like some water while I wait because my son called the order in. I looked the Buffet over and it look really good. The Restaurant was real clean and nice. The order was packed real good and she helped me take it out to my truck. The food taste real good the Sushi was great, they have a New Coustomer. If you're in Whitehouse Texas stop by Golden Buffet for some Good Food

Our first time here, there were 2 other couples already seated, waiter took our drink order, and nothing else. A lady waitress cleaned the finished plates off the 2 tables beside ours, but never came to clear our plates. Figured we would go back up for food and they would clear the finished plates, nope, filled up our drinks and left the plates. Waitress took the other tables what looked to be fortune cookies and their tickets, we never recieved our tickets so we decided to walk to the front to pay for our meal, because apparently the waitress was too busy eating, and the waiter seemed to be uninterested. A total waste of a Friday evening, customer service need to be worked on, we won't be back.
