Great food, portions and prices. We have been trying to get over and try this place for while and glad we did. Even though they were closing (our bad) they still served us with a smile. Seriously, the chips and queso are what you wish every Telmex place served. The fajita street tacos are legit. Want to go back and try the barbacoa.

i ordered the taco plate, 2 tacos with rice and beans. i got the 2 tacos. bot only 1 spoon full of rice and 1 spoon full of beans. for 4 dollars more then just 2 tacos it was a rip off. and the ice machine for your drink doesn't work.

Truly the best authentic Mexican food in the area! Being from San Antonio, I know good Mexican. We tried several different places in Tyler and nothing comes close to Mr. Taco! Tasting their carne guisada for the first time was like being home again, having dinner at my grandparents house. They are a little pricey but ABSOLUTELY worth it. Also - best chips and guac ever!

This place is good. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days. I love the San Antonio and California burritos. $14 each. In comparison, I can get a chuychanga at Chuys, with rice and beans, unlimited chips, and dip for $13. Overall, I pay the price for convenience because it's 1 min from my house. Highly recommend the Carne asada, spicy salsa.

So yummy. The food is hot, staff is very nice and greeting you when you walk thru the door. Ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Great atmosphere. Great food. Had a great dinner.

This place used to be great. I'd eat there 3 or 4 times a week. Now, food is decent, but portions and service and attitudes have gone way down. Crunchy tacos are only shells with nothing in em. The 3 little cups of salsa weigh more than my 5 tacos. Idk? But the prices went way up too. Won't be coming back again

First off, I'm from San Antonio, Texas and we were remodeling the Dollar General in Whitehouse, Texas.We heard that this is one of the best taco places, East of Texas, boy oh boy, they weren't wrong!! I guarantee, any taco you try from there, you won't be disappointed..Great Service and great customer service, decent to average prices, I highly recommend Mr. Taco Jr...It's a plus, that they also open at, by I believe 5-6am.. I honestly forgot..

If you wanna place where they forget your son's meal which was the 1st order and the only special. (She even read back my instructions) and make you drive back 30 minutes and then charge you for it. And not even an apology. After they should have done their job the first time. Then this is the place to go. Not happy. Thanks for wasting my time.
