Sampled Juniper Winery at the Winefest in San Antonio! Purchased the Rebel Red and Coco Arancia! Sooo delicious! I forgot to pick up my bag before I left, but Andrea was on it and called me. I met up with her and retrieved my treasures! Great customer service.
Tried this at a wine tasting and fell in love! The summer paradise and peach wine are amazing!
Juniper Cove Winery is a wonderful boutique winery in downtown Whitney. The people are friendly and the wines are excellent. During our two visits over the weekend, we tasted all the dry whites and reds plus Peachy Keen and a new fortified wine.. Anne, the owner and winemaker, is passionate about making wine and it shows. If you are lucky enough to be at the winery when she is there, you can learn a lot about Texas wines and making wines. We've tasted many Texas wines and hers are among the best.
Our hostess is great! Informative, friendly and warm. Every wine I’ve chosen for the tasting so far has been better than anything I’ve had. I’m glad to know these are Texas grapes. We will be buying our wine from here now!
Ordered a wine online for shipping after I had such a positive experience with them at Texas Winos, and it was never shipped. Called the winery many times to inquire and left voicemails, no return call. I also emailed them, no response. Ultimately had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back.
Chocolate kiss is a real treat!
I had the Ultimate pleasure of meeting the owners of this winery yesterday at Texas Winos. I got to sample their Peachy Keen wine, along with the Moscato Margaritas cocktail (10/10). Although the wine was amazing, what stood out to me was their kindness. My hands were full from my other wine purchases and he (I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name) got me a box… since my hands were full I dropped a bottle I purchased from another vendor and it shattered. I counted it as a loss, but the owner went out of his way and replaced that bottle for me. Sir, I was overwhelmed by your kindness. It will forever stay with me. I hope you see this. Thank you again! ?
Cute winery in downtown Whitney. It is small and offers a selection of about fifteen wines. We had a semi-sweet red. The environment is cozy and conducive to sit around and chat on furniture or at tables. They have a gift assortment for a little bit of everyone.I would recommend stopping by here and saying hello to the very sweet woman who waited on us.
I brought some Peachy Keen wine and my only issues is I didn’t buy enough. It’s the perfect backyard porch wine. The staff was super friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
My husband and I showed up towards closing time but the owner welcomed us in and was so knowledgeable about the wine and grapes. The group of people already there was inviting. Definitely a place, where everybody will end up know your name after your visit.

We enjoyed our tasting - thank you!!!!.The holiday mulled wine is absolutely delicious! My favorite was the peach. I was hesitant at first as many peach flavors have a somewhat artificial taste, but not this!! It was spot on! So smooth and perfect! Of course we had to get a bottle of each.
We had always wanted to try this place while in Whitney. We stopped in during Pioneer Day festival. We were greeted and offered the current wine list. We wanted to “taste” the wine so we choose the pick 4 wine tasting from the menu. We were poured about 3 sips of each wine. We are red wine drinkers so we steered away from the whites. The first red taste like vinegar and had a horrible smell. The second was not much better. We forced the 3rd & 4th. This was $15. Meanwhile, another customer walks in and is offered to try the wine of his choice. He is poured twice as much and then was given a second tasting of another wine, no charge? This was interesting. Not impressed with wine, atmosphere, or service. We were hopeful. At $27 a bottle, I would have expected more.
I brought some girlfriends here to sample the local vintage. Ann, the owner, was so knowledgeable and fun. She had lots of knowledge about every step of the winemaking process as she is a passionate vintner. She also knows a lot of about the local history and area. If you are a vinophile, you must stop by.
I was able to be the very first to try new 2023 peach wine ! It was delicious lots of peachy taste not overwhelmingly sweet but so good.We had a great time ! Please plan a trip to visit this unique place!
My wife and I were staying nearby and while exploring the area we decided to stop in the Juniper Cove Winery. We met Anne the owner, Kyle a musician, and several other nice locals. We had some great wine, ate some delicious "bites" and had a great time. Thank you to the good folks of Lake Whitney for making our 18th anniversary and Mardi Gras, a memorable time...If you're ever in this area, you have to stop in here. You'll be glad you did!
