The food I got was made to order, so very fresh! I believe it just got lost in a tiny language barrier that I wanted the chicken fried steak, they gave me the chicken fried rice instead. Honestly? It was still very good and I felt like I ate so much, but it definitely doesn't show! I'm not really a people person, so that's why the ding on atmosphere, it is definitely a small building but still have the great customer service!

Went twice before reviewing. Had promise but they seem overwhelmed. The two staff at the register can't keep track of simple orders and are in confusion with the two cooks in the back. Tip: call in your order...and then call again to check it is ready before going or you will be there all day. I hope they get better, it could be a good spot!
I’m so glad we stumbled onto the Chicken Box as we traveled through Wichita Falls. This is an individually owned fried chicken shack that serves tenders as well as white and dark meat on the bone. There are livers and gizzards for all of the people who like those. This was the crispiest, juiciest chicken I’ve had since my grandma’s home cooking years ago. Served hot and fresh. The little lady running the place is so friendly and accommodating, you feel like you’ve been welcomed into her home. The menu also has a variety of her traditional Korean dishes that I’m trying the next time I’m there. I’m several hundred miles from that place and I’d route my trip to take me through Wichita Falls just to eat at Chicken Box. Great food, huge portions. If you like fried Chicken, go! I’ll add another review after I eat the Korean food. 🙂

They should not charge for rolls which should come with the meal and should have ice for your drinks. All in all the food was really good. Would recommend.
