Had the widow maker with an order of onion rings. Rings were cooked perfectly (nice and crisp). Sandwich was very flavorful.

Hateful owner. Bring in application and she rushed by saying "NO," snatched up the application and threw it in the trash. I never got a word out. It's been a while but that's not ok. Dodged a bullet that day.

The menu is a confusing mess. The soda was poorly balanced, all syrup and little carbonation. The water tasted like dirt and metal. But the food is beyond excellent! Just order a bottled beverage and be prepared to be blown away!!

Ordered the "Fried Chicken" hoagie. Took a bite and was chewing RAW chicken!! A family member who was nice enough to buy us a meal, first tried to call Deli Planet to let them know of the situation but no one answered the phone. So she left a msg. Since we were all at the hospital, she said she would be there in about 20 mins. She got a call back from a woman who said she is the "owner" from the start, without seeing the sandwich, she had an attitude and insisted that "she" made it herself and it IS NOT raw! My family member told her that she was on her way and would be there in 20 minutes. To which the "owner" snapped back and said, "ANOTHER 20 MINUTES!".
WOW!! Great business!
The "owner" told my family member that the chicken is "smoked" so therefore it is not raw. Any IDIOT can see it is pink and RAW!! Not to mention... its a FRIED Chicken hoagie!!! I didn't even see a "smoked" chicken hoagie on the menu!!! Just to make things clear, we were using the menu online. So maybe the "OWNER" should review the online menu AND learn how to COOK chicken! Whether it was smoked, grilled, fried... IT WAS RAW CHICKEN!!
I am here from another state and my family has always bragged on Deli Planet and how great the sandwiches are...

Long story short the sub sandwiches didn't taste good at all and we were not pleased with it. Not like it use to be. I don't know what they changed but it wasn't good

The sub was pretty substantial, I got the fried chicken and it was great. I didn't order fries because it was too much food and I'm glad. Maybe I will order half a sub next time so I can have a side of Mac and Cheese or fries. Beers are $2 and drinks $3 at happy hour. We got there later but hopefully next time we get there earlier. A nice local place to hang out.

The Deli Planet has the best Texas Club I have ever eaten in my life- it is so delicious and I probably eat one a week. Their fries are so good. My husband is a picky eater and he always finds something new and different to try on their huge menu. We love the Deli Planet and love when Jaden waits on us. She is so attentive and such a sweet waitress.
