Friend and I came in and had lunch. Food was average. Burger didn’t have a whole lot of flavor. Tots and burger were pretty greasy, I understand that food can be greasy sometimes but this was a bit much. When I go to Ronnie’s or Scott’s my burgers and tots aren’t like that. A little disappointed in the price of what we paid for what we got, $40 for 2 people and we got our meals as smalls…
Also after looking through reviews on here replies from owners are not very customer friendly. Reviews are to let people know about their experiences, very very disappointing to see the owners bashing people and putting people down for their “lack of finances” as they word it. Highly doubt I’ll be back. There’s plenty of other great local burger places in town to support.

Update: response from manager is just flat out rude. Don’t like when people complain and assume they want free food. I can afford it just fine. But I can assure you I wont be back. How do you expect people to leave reviews when you chastise them for everything in responses. We’re entitled to our opinion. Doesn’t give you the right to say people can’t afford it when you’re just too dang high. Get a life.
Food was decent. But for the size it’s totally overpriced. They can say it’s fresh and up to par. But I can go to Ronnie’s and get a Medium burger that’s the same size at their large for $3 less. Their small tots the same price as a large at other similar places. Just don’t feel I got my money’s worth.

Cheeseburger, friscoburger, fries, rings, shakes...oh, and their breakfast burritos and omlettes... are the best around. These owners have done a fabulous job at restoring that old-school diner flavor that makes a burger SO tasty. And they are open on Sundays too, a rarity for a gem like this. Thank you for bringing Gene's back to life! ❤️

It is horrible they charged me $63 for two hamburgers and two kids burgers and a couple drinks. The hamburgers or smaller than the hamburgers at McDonald's in the fries were small and the food is nowhere near as good as it once was back in the day I have heard all week on the radio about James, Tasty, Barker, and I was skeptical about going back after getting food poisoning several years ago, the only thing they got going for him is they threw some pain on the walls and put some Coca-Cola beam figurines in a glass case the customer service is horrible after getting my food and seeing the portion of it I immediately demanded my money back and told them I did not want this food The lady argue with me and refused to give me a refund. I will never go back to this place, and I strongly suggest you do not waste your time, giving them any of your money because you will strongly regret it when your order comes out the prices are too high for the quantity and quality of the food. You can go to Applebee's and eat better for the same price Jeans tasty burger is once again horrible and they will not remain open long. I was not the only customer last night upset with their food and the price of it. A lady came in behind me and bought two hamburgers and they charged her $40 for it she asked for her money back and they refused to give her a refund .

Amazing burger and onion rings. Drinks had that tap water taste to it but not intolerable. In an interesting spot in town but don't let that put you off. Not very big on the inside and I think the AC was struggling the day I went. That aside the food was awesome.
