Good homemade cooking, owner / waitress was very friendly and I really liked her. All the food, meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, and green beans with roll or cornbread were very well made and tasty. Big fan of the mashed and gravy. She talked about her many grandchildren, lucky kids... See you again soon.

Good down to earth comfort food with a very pleasant staff. Not like anywhere in WF. Got to try everything. Just try to guess their recipes. Hopefully banana cream pie coming soon.

I got the bbq chicken, collard greens, and dressing. I have never had bbq chicken that was breaded, so that was different. The bbq sauce was very sweet. So if you like a more vinegar based sauce, it isn't for you. The dressing was pleasant enough. The collard greens were amazing. My bf got the fried chicken, collard greens, and potato salad. He was very unsatisfied with his chicken, because it was super dry. (I don't mind a dry breast, so I ate his) in my opinion it could have used some seasoning. The potato salad was average, yet pleasing. The only improvement from my point of view would be to have some fresh sweet tea. I ordered a sweet tea and was presented with a glass of ice and a bottled tea. I plan to try other menu items and would recommend this place. Maybe I just need to be more familiarized with the menu and their take on recipes.

Food is so good! Make it fresh to order. It does take a minute for them to cook it but is home made and fresh! The owners are AMAZING & so kind. Really enjoyed talking to the woman who owns the restaurant! Came from Oklahoma and was passing through and tried them out and it was worth it. They give big portions as well. Hope to see this place here for along time !
