The best food I’ve had in a while tuna , steak, oysters, service and price was all perfect

They staff at the bar were great but the food was more than well done which she immediately put the order in for another. The next steak was still not cooked properly and not the best cut. The flavor was severely lacking and the price for what you get you could easily go into a Capital Grille and get the same price, better atmosphere and quality tasting food.

The atmosphere at The Pelican was cozy and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable — attentive, polished, and truly focused on every detail.
We had made a reservation and were seated immediately, which we really appreciated.
The food was outstanding. My steak was seasoned beautifully, juicy, and absolutely delicious — one of the best meals we’ve had.
Prices are above average, but the quality, service, and overall experience make it worth every bit. Highly recommend The Pelican for a great dining experience in Wichita Falls.

The ribeye was worth every penny. Very, VERY thoroughly seasoned, and as tender as can be. The pumpkin cheesecake was also amazing, as was the clam chowder, and Caleb took incredibly good care of us. Dinner and dessert was over $150, but again, it was worth it.

Pelican’s has quickly become our go-to date night spot, and for good reason. My wife and I, along with another couple, make it a monthly tradition, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing.
The filet mignon is absolutely superb—cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. But the real star on the side menu is the mac and cheese—it’s hands down the best we’ve ever had. Creamy, rich, and downright addictive.
Beyond the food, the service is always top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes every visit feel special. Consistency is rare in restaurants these days, but Pelican’s delivers every single time.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal and an all-around great dining experience, Pelican’s is the place.

Recently moved from NJ. This was the first meal we’ve had in WF that reminded us of home. Bailey, our server was spectacular!!! Started with the Ahi tuna which was fantastic!! Food had so much depth and flavor. We will definitely be back to try more menu items soon!!!!

We’re not first-time visitors — we’ve come before and really like this place. Although there were only two of us, we asked to sit at a booth because we enjoy it. But the hostess told us that booths are for reservations only. I was honestly disappointed and didn’t understand why. Can someone explain this policy?

Wonderful place and amazing food. Specials are a must to try. Recommend trying to make reservations if a Friday or Saturday. Other nights it's a hit or miss but a reservation will get you a seat promptly at your arranged times. Chef Patrick and his team serves up some of the best food in town. The bar tenders work their hardest to get you what you need. The servers are always attentive and go above and beyond to help you enjoy your experience.
