I'm 20 years old with a old mind. So when it came to classic stuff. The music players play old school music. Loved it. Great food tasted like classic homemade food. First time going there. And I'm planning on going there every month. The worker and guest are very polite and caring. If you are looking for a calm restaurant with good food and music. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fried okra served cold and soggy fries same way. Not fond of food but live band was good

This is a rustic local gem. Food and service were excellent. Priced right and a fun stop. Bring quarters for the tableside jukebox.

My husband and I stopped at P3 to eat on the way back into Texas from a trip to Oklahoma. We specifically wanted to find a hole in the wall diner, and P3 popped up when we googled diners in Wichita. We got there an hour before they closed and the parking lot was packed, but we found a table right away. Plenty of room even though it didn't seem like it from the outside.The environment was old school, and we loved the originality and nostalgic feel, and knew the food was going to be good. The owner walked around and made a point to talk to everyone including us. Even though it was pretty obvious that we weren't from here, and we got some looks from the locals, he treated us like family, and was warm and welcoming. Service was on point, food was indeed really good. He got the CFS and I got the hamburger steak. Reminded me of my grandmother's cooking, which is all the more reason to love this place. We will definitely be back.

Came for breakfast one morning last week. It was delicious and simple. The bacon was perfectly cooked, the pancakes fluffy, and refills on coffee.
I've grown up going to the Pioneer restaurants my entire life; my family loves P3. They have a delicious steak on garlic, burgers, onion rings, enchiladas, and chicken fried steak as well.
The staff is always friendly, funny, and sweet.

The staff here really takes care of you. If you go a few times, they will treat you as old friends. Some of the waitresses cry when customers die. They honestly care.

Food and staff are always great, very friendly. The owner is always friendly and talks to his guests. Service is always fast. Down to earth atmosphere.
Could use new cushions for booths.. as well as a bit more care in the cleaning of the jukeboxes at tables. But overall, it is one of my favorite places to eat. I've been going here since I was a little kid. I have never gotten anything I did not like.
