Nice, they have two pool tables but ,don't go there for a game of pool, and you're good. The atmosphere is friendly, overall a nice bar/pub.

We attended Desperado concert event and wow what a great place, great show, met Jenna and she is the bomb! So attentive to customers and friendly as were the entire bar staff! Well done Iron Horse Pub!!

Only giving 1 star because I can't give any less. To start I had never been before so I didn't know proto-call. I walked right passed security and the bartender walked by me and said "Did you show your IDS" I said "no" he sarcastically said "That's what the line is for" not nice but I still had hope as we were seeing a Queen cover band. We sat at our reserved table in the back. Killer queen came on so I wanted to stand in the front for a couple of minutes as far out of the way as I could(where other people were standing) I was asked 3 times in a (wish I was exaggerating) 30 SECOND SPAN to move out of the way. Will never come back here ever again even if you paid me to.

It's one of the very few bars I goto and the only one I goto regularly. Great staff and most everyone I've met while there are friendly and good people. Live music is always great as well!

If you're in Wichita Falls, even just for a night, I recommend checking this place out. They do live music and such on some nights, but even on the night I went, it was nice to hang out in a clean but unpretentious pub. It was a Tuesday night but there were several locals playing pool, chilling on the patio, and just chatting away.
And, don't let the atmosphere fool you - my drink was damn good. I got a ranch water at another bar nearby that was so poorly made that I left. The ranch water at Iron Horse was so fresh and delicious that I ordered three!
I'll be back for sure next time I'm in town.

What was once an Irish jewel in the heart of north Texas, has devolved into a trash bar for sh!+ music and a trashy crowd. Formerly the best 'live band' place in WF, it's now nothing more than awful cover bands and drunk 20 somethings. Hopefully the current ownership will come to their senses and sell this place to someone that remembers what Iron Horse once was, and what could be.
