Went to this restaurant for a gathering last night and it was not an enjoyable experience. The service was slow. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and the other staff were not attentive as well. They looked over it. I ordered the steak kabob salad which looked great until I started to take a few bites and noticed a gritty texture. I thought it was seasoning but no it was dirt. Another friend of mine ordered the chicken salad and sent her salad back immediately after noticing. I examined my salad a little more and indeed imbedded in the lettuce looked like sand/dirt. No one really was apologetic towards me eating dirt! Needless to say I will not be back.

Food and Service was good but not spectacular. We were seated in a booth which was uncomfortable and seemed inappropriate for the prices on the menu. We were expecting a more elegant and tasteful atmosphere. Wine List was terrible. It appears to be little more than a hotel lobby grill with prices that match a very nice restaurant.

My wife and I ordered the Barbacoa Rolls followed by the Steak House salad and a side of Smoky Cheddar Grits. Everything was delicious and wait staff was very professional. It was a delightful time and will patronize it often.

Food was way overpriced for what you get and the service leaves much to be desired. Slow greeting, slow drinks, painfully slow food prep and was served the wrong type of steak... real pedestrian efforts on all fronts

Delicious food, great service. I felt like we were in Downtown Fort Worth once we walked into the hotel. The bar was also a pleasant surprise.

Very disappointed. We were looking forward to eating at the new "high end" steak house. It didn't start well. First thing, waiter was very blasé from start to finish. I don't expect energetic cheerfulness but I do expect a smile and voice implying that they are happy to see me and my guests. Second thing, I had to flag down my waiter to ask for our appetizer after waiting longer than we thought we should have to wait for an "appetizer". It doesn't have to be served instantly but it should arrive within a reasonable amount of time. I'm pretty sure everyone understands the concept of eating your appetizer prior to receiving your entrée and that is what I expect. When the appetizer arrived it was then explained that there was a party of 30 people and that that is why it took so long to get the appetizer. We gave that explanation a little credit and waited for our entrées. After waiting for an 1:15 for our entrées I asked the waiter for a status of our meals. He said that they were on the grill and would be delivered in the next 5 to 10 minutes. We gave him 17 minutes before we sought out the manager and explained our experience and that we would like to pay our bill and leave. She attempted to explain that the delay was due to the large party that they were serving. I would have understood the explanation except that this was a Wednesday evening with maybe 15% of the tables occupied and we had made the reservation. How do they handle the weekend when they have 100+ guests? We also pointed out that most of the wait staff were gathered up together and that neither our waiter or she, the manager, had checked on us during our extended wait. We ended up leaving after an hour and forty seven minutes of waiting for our main entrees.

The lighting is too bright for a fine dining experience. The staff are very friendly, but it appears they have not been properly trained for this type of establishment. 45 minutes to receive our first round of drinks seemed excessive.

Went in for an anniversary, everything was absolutely delicious. A joint favorite of ours was the Mac n cheese! We will definitely be going back! We also loved their charcuterie board!

First time going and we were not impressed at all. Both of our steaks were way to salty and I specifically asked fir my wife's steak to be well done absolutely no pink and it was very pink so we will probably not be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and environment. Our hostess was very friendly and seated us right away. Our server, although pleasant at first, was lacking on "service ". My husband ordered Patron silver on the rocks. He brought back a margarita. My husband explained that this wasn't what he ordered, he argued with us and said it was. We finally convinced him it wasn't and he took the drink back. We were there 25 minutes before he took our order. I ordered the salmon and it was served medium RARE and inside the filet was cold. It was entirely too salty! My husband ordered a steak and it was prepared well and had great flavor. The homemade chips were also too salty. The dessert and coffee afterwards were a win! Overall, for the $165 that we spent, the experience was lacking quality.

Don't go off their times posted on here and drive two hours for a nice steak dinner. Their hours are incorrect. They need to update their information.

Let me start off by saying I was severely upset leaving this restaurant and I’m usually a pretty understanding person bit this restaurant completely surpassed any level of understanding I had left with me .First off we had a reservation for 4 and after standing in the lobby for about 10 minutes they finally seat us at the table that’s completely in the back next to the exit sign and where they put the dirty dishes .ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND RUDE! seeing as how we passed 5 completely open tables and booths we made an issue because apparently the hostess which was the pretty skinny Asian girl with the bang and glasses didn’t enough common sense to realize that wasn’t ok the manager moves us to be a better table and then proceeds to order us to complimentary appetizers without even asking which ones just submitted the order dinner drags on and it gets worse and worse the hostess never comes to apologize she just goes on about her night walking past our table cracking jokes like we don’t see her then she is seen with the waiter Jacob who then try’s to be sarcastic and walks over and literally states “what happened “ “why did yall move tables “ like excuse me that’s very unprofessional smh food was ok.twice baked potato was the best and the cocktails were decent as the experience was coming to an end I then see the hostess get my dessert from the kitchen and once she realized it was for me she handed the dessert to Jacob halfway to the table and then he walked it to the rest of the way to me because she didn’t wanna approach us smh not to mention I was celebrating my birthday a little early with my fiancé, his mother and grandmother and it was completely ruined by the is joke of a rumored upscale restaurant I will never step foot on this property and you can bet your last dollar I will be having a conversation with the Marriott about this and I have almost 3 thousand followers on social media and the will definitely be hearing about this horrible experience!

This place lacks serious quality in the steak and potato department. I ordered a 44 dollar steak and it was covered in bad butter and dry rosemary, chewy, and lowest quality meat that I have had in a while. I have had a better steak dinner from Mcdonalds. That didn’t include any sides, which were also lack luster and poor quality.Waitress was a 10 out of 10. Poor lady needs a menu and quality of food to match her hard work and high quality service. Don’t waste your cash here. Go to Texas Roadhouse down the street and pay half the price for better quality steak. My total ticket for my wife and I equated to $155. If a ranch is tied to this restaurant they have the worse cows in Texas.

We really enjoyed our night out at Wellborn. It was our first visit but won't be our last. Everything was delightful! My New York strip was flavorful and tender. The wedge was appropriate in size, with bleu cheese crumbles that were better than standard. The barbacoa egg rolls can't be recommended highly enough!
