Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Dogs are allowed inside restaurant. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with a bar of alcohol and pool tables avaliable. There is an outdoor area available for events. Signs throughout the bldg are hilarious.

We’re passing through town and this place has the highest ratings, so we decided to try it out.
The server was a sweetheart from the start.
The food took a bit to come out, but not a big deal for us.
My husband ordered chop steak with no mushrooms. Steak was well seasoned, onions were deliciously sautéed, but he’s not sure what to think of the brown gravy. He said it’s different. He loved the Texas toast.
My son had a chicken fried steak with masked potatoes and corn. He liked the Corn and mashed potatoes and gravy, but the steak was a bit too greasy for him.
I ordered a cheese quesadilla with masked potatoes. The potatoes are made from scratch, so they were good, and the quesadilla was okay.
We didn’t realized it was a bar and people started drinking at 11:30, so it got too loud for our taste. Considering it’s a bar, it’s not their fault.

🌟 Hidden Gem Alert in Willis Point, TX! 🌟
If you haven’t been to The Ball Joint Bar, you’re seriously missing out. We stopped in and were absolutely blown away by the food and hospitality.

🔥 We had the Cajun dry rub wings, steak fingers, and catfish — every bite was packed with flavor and clearly made from scratch. This is true country-style cooking done right.

The service? Top notch. The owner brings genuine down-home vibes with incredible attention to detail that makes the whole experience unforgettable.

📍 Whether you're passing through or nearby, this place is a must-stop in Willis Point. Don’t sleep on it!

The Ball Joint – Wills Point
Where the vibes are tight, and the service never struts.

Pulled into The Ball Joint in Wills Point expecting a standard pit stop—what I got was a full chassis realignment for the soul. This place isn’t just a restaurant, folks—it’s a smooth ride from appetizer to dessert.

Let’s start with the atmosphere: comfy enough to absorb all the bumps in your day. The booths have just the right amount of give—like new shocks on a half-ton pickup. And the staff? Tighter than a fresh set of control arms. Friendly, fast, and no unnecessary play in the system.

I ordered the fried pickles as my starter—crispy, zesty, and cornered better than a Miata on backroads. Then the burger showed up, stacked higher than a lifted Silverado and juicy enough to void your warranty. Every bite kept me aligned with my better judgment: don’t stop eating.

Drinks were well-balanced—no pulling to one side—and the dessert? Let’s just say the banana pudding had more layers than a leaf spring on a logging truck.

Prices? Let’s just say they won’t blow your struts. Affordable enough that even your broke-down cousin with the rusty El Camino could roll through and still tip decently.

In conclusion, The Ball Joint keeps things centered, stable, and delicious enough to make your taste buds do donuts in the parking lot. Five stars, and that’s no sway bar talking.

Stopped for lunch while traveling and it was a treat. The girl that helped us was very helpful and nice, the food was also very good, especially the Skunk Eggs. Bummed we missed the free beer though; will have to go back tomorrow. 😁
