Food is authentic, flavorful, colorful. Black ceviche is by far the best blend of seasoning I've ever tastes. Mole enchiladas are great as well. Nice clean open floor restaurant, the service is usually slow so order a drink and enjoy your company. Always awaken my tastbuds when I

We had the shrimp tacos and chili relleno, then creme brule for dessert, all of which were outstanding. And the atmosphere was wonderful. When I told our server they were now my Mexican restaurant gold standard and how we were already making plans to come back for birthdays, etc. we were informed they are closing due to some personal matters the owner has to deal with. We were crushed! So sad no one seems to be able to make a go at this location for one reason or another. I just hope someone can and that it's as good as Corazon de Mexico. They'll be missed!

They will be closing soon. We are going to be sure to go there one last time. We hope that they reopen locally.

This was our 1st visit here; we came after a neighbor on the La Cima Facebook site highly recommended it. We came for Sunday brunch, and enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly and explain the options well. There are a decent variety of brunch options. We started with the guacamole and chips, which was freshly made and very tasty. My husband ordered the chilaquilas with grilled chicken and a tasty poblano cream sauce and fried eggs; and I got the mixed chicken and steak fajitas (chargrilled and well seasoned), with included seasoned black beans and rice. We enjoyed both our entrees, and were full after eating them, but wanted to try dessert, so ordered to go tres leches cake. The cake was a tall, layered sponge cake with an almond and cream filling and sweet cream sauce. We both recommend this restaurant for its excellent authentic Mexican dishes, beautiful hacienda decor, friendly staff, and unique offerings.

Just went here Saturday for the first time. We ordered & shared the guacamole, carne asada & tres leches. Both the food & service by the manager (Carlos?) were outstanding! Can't wait to go back. Margaritas were also tasty & strong. 10 stars for everything. I wish Corazon de Mexico great & continued success, because they most certainly deserve it!! Very highly recommend!!!

We are a family of five with three kids 9yo, 12yo and 13yo. We can be picky eaters but all five of us loved our food, the service and atmosphere. It’s just outside of Wimberly on the road back to Austin. It’s an easy stop but the food was so good it is quickly going to become a destination for us. I had Chile Reyeno - it was beautiful, fresh, and delicious. One of my sons had chicken fajitas and my husband had steak fajitas they came out sizzling hot, well seasoned and with fresh tortillas, black beans, and rice. My other son had the fully loaded nachos he devoured. Our daughter who is nine was very excited to find Mac N Cheese on the menu to go with her fresh guacamole! We splurged on the tres leche and cheesecake deserts. All and all it was amazing and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s not Tex Mex but true Mexican food and it was great!
I rarely if ever leave a restaurant review but Carazon de Mexico is truly several cuts above every other restaurant in central Texas irrespective of cuisine. If El Chicos satisfies either your pallet or your budget then don't stop here! This Mexican restaurant is equal to or better than any in Central Texas.
