This place has so much potential, but our first night there on my wife and I's weekly date night left much to be desired. We ordered an Old Fashioned as a pre-dinner drink, and it was a watered-down drink with crushed ice and tasted very bland. The chairs were very uncomfortable, and there was food on the floor all around our table. They also had the garage doors up, so there were flies everywhere.The food was decent, but the overall experience was just not good. It's a very pretty setting in Wimberly, but the team that is running the place should work harder to create a great dining experience. Bathrooms were also mixed use and very dirty. Won't be coming back for a while.

Why can't you have a women's bathroom and a separate one for the men?? I don't understand. They were dirty as well,so this definitely started our evening on the wrong note.The floors around the tables had food all over them,like they weren't cleaned in between diners.Dogs are allowed?? I guess I understand outside, but inside??? Gross.Definitely will not be going back to this dirty establishment
