food was very underwhelming. server had a major attitude, didn’t seem to want to be there at all. flies were horrible. worst part was definitely paying over $80 for a turkey sandwich, a glorified philly cheesesteak (on a raw hotdog bun lol) with one app and one martini. insane.

The indoor atmosphere in the resturaunt was sort of bland, but they made up for it with their outdoor seating area! The bar bothered me because there was only 4 chairs at it, which to me is a joke, just remove the chairs and make it a walk up and order or something. The food I got was fair. Seemed like it needed a face-lift and some excitement added to it, fries were great! My girlfriend had the cheese steak tacos, and those were great. Nice selection of adult drinks.

The new decor looks great, but we were seated and sat for 15 minutes watching servers stand around and casually walk past us without any of them even acknowledging us or offering water or menus, even after we asked if anyone was going to come and take care of our table we had to walk out. no one even seemed to care. There were two other tables seated indoors and four tables seated outside. Whoever trained the wait staff has done a terrible job. I have lived in wimberley for over 15 years and my two adult sons, who grew up here came back to visit from out of state and were excited to eat at , their favorite place and it was incredibly disappointing. there was plenty of stuff on hand because we had to walk through five servers gathered around the hostess stand. We’ve been eating at this location for years, and I love what the new owners have done with the interior and the menu but I will not be returning.

The mashed potatoes were flavorless. The bbq sauce was way too sweet. The burger was a huge letdown. And The Beast sandwich was another disappointment. But don’t worry, one appetizer and two entrees were $60, so there’s that

We chose Chill’s on the Creek on our first trip to Wimberly and were very disappointed. The food service was very slow and our food arrived cold. I had the mahi tacos which had a very small portion of fish which was over seasoned and over cooked. The tacos also had plain white unseasoned rice inside as a filler to make up for the small portion of fish. I love fish tacos and these were the worst I’ve ever had. To top it off the only available bathroom was a porta-potty which was just outside of the tented area we sat in. There were 4 of us in our group and we all agreed we would never eat there again. One bright spot… the boudin balls were good.

The food was amazing I got a burger with some fries and i generally loved it. I loved that the service was quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. 10/10 recommend that you try it out for yourself.
