This is my second time here and enjoyed both visits tremendously. While on another trip to Wimberley with friends I made sure we stopped here and at sunset too. The sunsets are awesome, the staff friendly and this time I actually saw the llamas! Up close and personal too. They could enlarge their wine selection but that won’t keep me from coming back every time I visit Wimberley.

I recently tried the Bahn Mi and Cubano sandwiches from a unique food truck and was thoroughly impressed. The Bahn Mi had a perfect balance of flavors, with the savory marinated meat, fresh veggies, and tangy sauce all coming together in perfect harmony. (I had to fight my teenager to share) The Cubano, on the other hand, was packed with slow-roasted pork, ham, pickle and melted Swiss cheese. Absolutely mouth watering. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend giving these tasty sandwiches a try! I cannot wait to bring my family back.

The pork on the Cubana sandwich was delicious, but the remainder of the meat was quite disappointing. The ham and chips were just store bought and put together. Other than the pork this sandwich was exactly like any numerous ones I've made at home. Not worth the cost, and yes I know food trucks charge more, but often times they find ways to make it worth the extra cost... this experience was not worth the cost.
If you are driving through or visiting Wimberly, TX make sure to check out the Shady Llama Beer Garden and while you’re there grab yourself an amazing sandwich from The Deli Llama. This guy makes a ridiculously good Cubano, the pork is so tender it’s crazy!!
