We were in town for vacation and decided to stop by here, it had been recommended to us. No line to wait when we went at lunch, and seated quickly! Food was so good, we got the fried macaroni for appetizer and then we each had a burger (chili cheeseburger, and one of the sweet and spicy burgers). Both burgers cooked great and so good!! Our server was so nice and welcoming definitely feel the small town vibe at this restaurant!

Every few weeks I make Wimberley Cafe a destination when going on a morning motorcycle ride. Breakfast here is wonderful with fast and friendly service. It's a fairly typical American Diner in terms of the entrees but everything is pretty good. Try to sit on the patio, they have heaters in case it's chilly.

We were forgotten about after getting on the reservation list and waiting over 45 minutes. Went back to ask and they seated us- Ok thats fine. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait, very boring standard breakfast that is done better at ihop or Dennys. Its a tourist town so standards are low I guess.
