I can’t even give this crawfish broil one star cause it wasn’t cleaned properly and tasted like muddy fish and the price of it was reasonable but it wasn’t worth what we paid for it total of $160.77 down the drain and didn’t even get to eat the crawfish broil it went to the trash my husband being from Louisiana he called and asked to speak to management he then talked to someone and as he told what was wrong with the crawfish boil the person passed the phone to the guy who prepared it and he said he was from Louisiana as well and knew what he was doing but being Louisiana born and raised my husband told them not to worry about it that they lost a good customer as he always gotten big Cajun food orders from there in the past for his customers in the oil field as of today this place has lost our business for good!

Maybe I wasn’t born in a pirogue but I’m sure no couyon.Seafood gumbo- good amount of meat given we’re a long way away from the GOM out here in Wink.Roux- This is where the controversy can start. ?. For me, I like a slightly deeper roux but that’s just me. Their base wasn’t anything to toss out the window. A solid good medium.Crawfish Étouffée- Another debated dish. Some lean more thin and buttery, some thicker flour. This leaned in the thicker direction. Plenty of tails in there, represents well.Jalapeño cornbread- spot on.Grabbed some red beans and rice to try this evening, will update.

First time eating gator and boy oh boy it sure was good. Washed it down with good ole sweet tea. I didn't try the shrimp but I was told it was very good as well.

Please don't think this is what cajun food taste like! I ordered three things and they were absolutly horrible... the gumbo taste like boiling water from a week old crawfish boil...

the restaurant was relatively empty. It took us an hour and 45 minutes to get some fried fish. Horrible. Worst mistake in my life. If you want something to eat, don’t bring your customers to this place go across the street to Allsup’s and get some burritos but the good thing is it’s pretty expensive

Server was awesome!!!! Sweet tea was amazing for the 2 stars. Food was absolutely terable and over priced. Paid 20$ for alligator had 4 pieces of meat on the plate but they did substitute it for fries. Overcooked main meals tasted like swamp

This is a great gem in west Texas that really did a good job with the boudin balls . The service was very good and waitress very attentive. The Cajun touch was awesome!!!

Okay, this place is pretty much the real deal, in my opinion & I was in south Louisiana for 15+ years. Unfortunately, it's not mine nor my husband's thing as to how they cook it here. The food is a tad spicy for my taste. Don't ever remember having cheese in boudin balls before either. But if you enjoy Cajun-seafood, you may enjoy eating here.*Well, it's gone back & forth on opinions for reviews from us. The American food is pretty good. Just cost a bit much, pricey for what you get. But for the small town of Wink ?, it is mostly convenient & taste okay.$30 for 2 cheeseburgers & some fries, was a bit much. No drinks included & no condiments, like mayo, on the burgers either. Yuck. Was disappointed this time for sure.
