Recommend by a friend.Now the subject of Cajun food is about as controversial as Tex-Mex. That said, this is my take on what I had. Okay, this place is pretty much the real deal, in my opinion & I was in south Louisiana for 15+ years. Unfortunately, it's not mine nor my husband's thing as to how they cook it here. AMAZING tasting food!!! Very friendly staff. Even though they were short handed tonight, the server kept her calm and hustled all over the dining room. She did amazing to be the only server. The cook made our food to perfection!! The gumbo was good, the shrimp and corn soup was good, the apitizers of fried jalapenos, gator bites, cajun fries, and bacon wrapped shrimp were phenomenal!!
