It was a small out of the way pie place. All the pies were delicious but my favorite was the Scratch pie fresh made this morning. There were about 30 riders in our group and they handled us like a sailor. If you are easily offended then this place is not for you! The owner is hilarious and a great pie maker. We will go back.
Today was the day to visit Ganny's for the first time after passing it on the road so many times before. We were not disappointed! Lunch special was fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes with cream gravy and biscuits. A pre-ordered coconut meringue pie, still warm from the oven, came home with us. Georgia is an excellent pie maker in the hopkins county. I have ordered several different pies for the upcoming thanksgiving and she wonderfully baked each pie fresh on the day I wanted. She gets the job done, very professional, and each pies are baked to perfection.
