I was visiting Winters for a week. Donuts (from independent donut shops) are a thing my husband and I love to try when we're traveling. Where we live (Brooklyn), there are fancy donut shops and chains, but it's hard to find delicious basic donuts. The people of Winters do not have this problem for sure! We first tried Winters Donuts mid-week and my only regret was that I didn't start this love affair on day one. They were so good! Just their basic glazed yeast donut...
AWESOME place! My family was driving through Winters for the first time ever this morning around breakfast time. We stopped at the donut shop and will be forever grateful we stopped! The jalapeño kolaches are like Heaven on earth. Even better than the kolaches was the service tho. Friendly, smiling faces that were happy to see us. Every town needs a donut stop like Winters!
