Tried this place for the first time today and the food was amazing! We tried the beef fried rice, chicken pad Thai, spring rolls, and cream cheese crispies. Everything was hot and fresh and did not disappoint! Definitely give this place a shot!

100% best Pad Thai in Lubbock! Get it with the chicken and shrimp! Then get a side of honey shrimp tacos!! The family that owns Elotes is so kind. Their son makes me laugh every time we go in. I love supporting true family run businesses!

Hidden gem of a place, good food!

Went for Sunday evening dinner and wasn't expecting a crowd. Lots of customers with kids having fun and enjoying great food. Our food was served as it came out of the wok, steaming and hot. Appetizers were excellent and enjoyed by the adults and kids. Entrées were excellent and a level above what I've found in our local restaurants, which are normally very good. Staff contributed equally to our enjoyment. Looking forward to next time.

I would prefer to enjoy my dinner without a child stomping around on tables... this is not just unprofessional that the employee had let their son run all over the restaurant run into patrons while we ate, but also walk on tables. Absolutely disgusting.

Although this was highly unprofessional and unsanitary, due to this, my wife did not eat as she was disgusted, I had eaten but could have been so much better. This establishment has so many good reviews from many years ago that this was our first time coming here, and unfortunately, we will not be back to the nasty foot tables.

The young man working the register should also consider working elsewhere if he does not enjoy his job as he does not come off very friendly.

I don’t usually post reviews but the AUDACITY of them to heat food in a microwave and charge $14 a plate is ridiculous. Someone call Gordon. This can’t continue. Not good food AT ALL. People who love food care about the food, ingredients, and take pride in their craft. Guys…. Come on man. I’m disappointed in you. And to be fair, I gave it more than 1 try to see if it could change. We all have bad days as cooks but that’s just…. Dang.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had . I ordered the bourbon chicken. I had a feeling it would be no good when the guy microwaved it. I’ve never had anything microwaved from a food truck. I’m sorry, but the food was terrible. I could not even eat it, threw it away. $14 plate wasted. Looked in edible as soon as I saw it and it was.

We had green curry and beef nachos. Both exceptional.!

Tonight was our first time trying Elotes and we were beyond impressed. It's hard taking a toddler and rambunctious 6yo to eat, but they made us feel so welcome. The kids had a great time playing and my husband and I were able to feel like we were on a real date. The food was flavorful and filling, everything was homemade. We can't wait to come back and try other items off their menu!

Kid-friendliness: They have an outside patio that you can relax and go chill on while you wait for your food and or you can even eat out there in the back it's a very family-oriented restaurant.

The Asian food is good but the Mexican food is disgusting. Go for the Asian don’t get the Mexican.
