The top 10 Texas BBQ ranking is not by chance at this place. The food and service are always top notch. When the owner greets you at the register and takes your order on a mid-afternoon Wednesday it is refreshing. My favorite is 1 meat lean brisket with collard greens and green chili grits. They make it look easy but behind the scenes there is great attention to detail. You are not a top 10 bbq spot in Texas for eight year unless you are great.
We had brisket and it was amazing.
Great BbQ and great sides. Large portions
It was the best barbecue I ever had. Service was great and the atmosphere.
Food runs out in afternoon, so worth it.
Best BBQ in Texas (the whole world)
And they even had burnt ends! Wow, a must stop as the Top 10 BBQ in Texas. A recognition they surely live up too
The best brisket I have ever consumed in my entire existence. This experience has changed my life and you have to try it.
One of the very best in Texas! Worth driving from anywhere anytime to get here!

Fair warning. We didnt know about the very long wait. I’m sure the food is great based upon the 100+ people lined up throughout the gigantic restaurant snaking throughout. You cannot save seats and it’s counter service. After not moving at all for five minutes, we left. If you have no problem waiting in line for 30-40 minutes and fighting for a table thereafter, this is the place for you.
Good food. Post covid-19 prices are high. You get a good amount for what you pay for.

I had lunch here with a customer around 11:30 on 10/10. When we arrived, there was a short line, but it only took a few minutes to get to order. We both got 3 meat plates. I got the brisket, which was tender and juicy and had a great smoked flavor. Then the green chili cheese sausage, which was phenomenal. The casing had a hard snap, and the cheese added a creamy finish to the spiciness. The pork ribs were excellent. The meat came clean off of the bone and was packed full of flavor. The sides were outstanding as well! The baked potato casserole and grits were absolutely delicious. And to finish off a wonderful meal, I had the peanut butter pie! It was quite dense, but in the best way. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our food and had a good time!
