Fair warning. We didnt know about the very long wait. I’m sure the food is great based upon the 100+ people lined up throughout the gigantic restaurant snaking throughout. You cannot save seats and it’s counter service. After not moving at all for five minutes, we left. If you have no problem waiting in line for 30-40 minutes and fighting for a table thereafter, this is the place for you.

I had lunch here with a customer around 11:30 on 10/10. When we arrived, there was a short line, but it only took a few minutes to get to order. We both got 3 meat plates. I got the brisket, which was tender and juicy and had a great smoked flavor. Then the green chili cheese sausage, which was phenomenal. The casing had a hard snap, and the cheese added a creamy finish to the spiciness. The pork ribs were excellent. The meat came clean off of the bone and was packed full of flavor. The sides were outstanding as well! The baked potato casserole and grits were absolutely delicious. And to finish off a wonderful meal, I had the peanut butter pie! It was quite dense, but in the best way. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our food and had a good time!
Delicious BBQ it is a must go if you are in town. Get there 30-45 mins prior to opening to ensure you get everything you want. They sold out of beef ribs in 20 mins from opening.

This BBQ was catering a wedding I attended. It is absolutely outstanding BBQ. The ribs were the most moist, tender, melt in your mouth I’ve ever had. Seasoned perfectly. No need for sauce. The brisket was perfectly balanced with just enough fat to melt as you start to but down. Your taste buds will love you for it. Then there was the corn and potato salad. Fantastic. I am so impressed that I will go out of my way the next time I am anywhere near Lubbock TX. Highly recommend with a 6 star rating. Wish we remembered to take to some pics… but will update with pictures when we eat there.
