Scallops were very tasty. Atmosphere charming for such a dive on the outside. Waitress could not get the ticket straight for 3 couples. 5 of us got our food and had finished eating before the last one got his scallops. We told the server to take the scallops back since we had all finished. The kitchen obviously had problems going on.
The food is incredible. It's hard to believe Lubbock has a place like this. Chez Sami is what other restaurants like the Watering Hole and The Nicolett think they are. This is definitely the best place in town.
Should have realized it would have been different because of the name change, however the menu & description are no longer French as listed on Open Table. It is now Italian with a small menu (as it was before) but with pizzas & spaghetti as options. The atmosphere is great in our opinion & the service was decent. We did not care for the menu or the food.
