The vegetable sushi is amazing!! We ordered 1 of each except the one that has eggs in it. Plus I got a seaweed salad which is so yummy!! We also got an order of edamame. With all of that my husband & I shared, we were both full when we left. Just the right amount of great food.

It's not as good as livingston, but it's still good UPDATE! 10-19-24 WENT IN TODAY AT AROUND 5PM 2 OTHER people in the restaurant and we sat down and waited and waited and waited finally a family came in and they sat them brought them drinks then after we had just about enough of waiting we walked out after the waiter said he will be with us in a minute then proceeded to take the family's order... nope, we walked out, and that's it will never go back as this is our 3rd bad experience there... livingston only for us...

Was just passing through town and picked up from here. The food was AMAZING!! I didn't know what I was ordering when I got the "money bag". I thought it was just one thing but it was a whole order of Crab Rangoon. Happy surprise cause it's my favorite but it was way more food than I should have ordered ?

After having some really bad experiences after only being open for 2 weeks I decided to wait about a month or two before returning to give them time to work out the kinks. It felt unfair to judge them solely on these initial experiences in an industry that struggles in so many ways post-COVID.
Today I arrived at noon on a Friday, it was not a full dining room as all the other times I attempted to dine. I was promptly seated and my waiter was cheerful and attentive. I was able to put my order in just as he returned with my drink. I ordered the Gyoza and Alligator Roll.
My food took only about 10 minutes to come out after ordering. My sushi's presentation was pleasing to the eye and hit the spot, everything was absolutely delicious.
I was able to be in and out in under 45 minutes, which I believe is important for people who are more than likely coming in during a lunch break at work. This has improved DRAMATICALLY since my past visits.
So glad Sakura has come to our community and I plan to patronize them more often. I hope those of us who love this type of food will continue supporting them and keep them here. The value for what you get on your plate(s) is quite good considering many other local fast and mediocre foods can cost the same if not more.
If you have not tried them, I highly recommend you do, they will not disappoint.

Ate there with my family one night. We are big fans of sushi and hibachi dishes. Service was OK but wait took a while. It looked like they were very shirt handed. Beef with fried rice didn't look or taste as good as it could be. Soup was good. Sushi was good but smaller than the ones I've had at other places. Waiter was OK but there is language barrier. Didn't mind it for me but I felt sympathetic for him. It's not been opened long so I might try it again but as of right now, I probably would stick with my regular place even though it's a bit longer drive. Glad they're there though. We need variety.

Food here is amazing the green devil roll is where it's at. I didn't have the opportunity to try any appetizers yet, but the fish in the sushi was cold, which was nice. Which at least tells me they're refrigerated and did not take long to make and with multiple walkout orders coming in. Oh, and we ordered two additional platters including the spicy tuna and the spicy salmon and they came within minutes. Everything was excellent. Thank you!
