I usually really like it here. Last time I ordered 2 street taco plates, they charged me about $50 for 2 plates full of meat and the tortillas were a separate bag. When I called they said the plates I ordered were only $11, so they didn’t understand how I was charged over $50 for that. I even asked if they were sure it was my order before I paid that. I guess I figured tip was included?? Prices went up? Idk. They said they would look into it and call me back and never did. Couldn’t take the order back because I drove out of town so it was a waste of money.

My mom, me and step dad went to eat here today 1/14/2024. So as we all sitting here getting ready to eat. My mom had the pancakes and she doesn’t like pouring her syrup on her pancakes. So she asked the waitress for a bowl to pour her syrup, so when she pulled the syrup here comes running out a whole bunch of baby roaches I mean crawling everywhere. So she calls the waitress and tells her to look and the waitress was like oh they probably came from Syrup with no care, or worry in the world what they was just looking at before their eyes. They never once apologize they never once asked what could they do to fix it so we all grow up and gather our things and we left. was kidding about it. The lady was like it wasn’t shocking to them. It was like something that they see all the time mind you this is crawling all over the bacon, the syrup, the eggs and the pancakes like it was little roaches all over the place I’ve never seen nothing like this before my life.

We were on a long road trip and got hungry. They close at 10. We walked in at 9:25. First thing the lady did was look at her watch. Really? Food was ok. Was super hot in places like chef Mike heated it up.

This restaurant is beautiful! The people are warm and smiling, and your food comes out so hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes through Yokum or anyone who lives in Yoakum. Service is fantastic as well. The motif just gorgeous! You must go and check this out yourselves. So if you need a nice dining experience in a wonderful place with wonderful people, I would advise you to go here.

Best Mexican restaurant in Yoakum. I don’t understand all the and reviews?? I’m so glad y’all opened here, all the other Mexican food in Yoakum sucks. We love Mi Pueblo!!
